Furry friends welcome

Bring your pets along for the stay.
Nestled amidst a picturesque village, this enchanting house welcomes you with its arches meticulously crafted from Venetian stones dating back a century. As you step inside, the allure of the sea beckons from the balcony, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. Across the street, a charming restaurant stands ready for your culinary desires. With a blend of historical charm, scenic vistas, this house is not just a dwelling; it's a sanctuary where the past meets the present in perfect harmony.

The space
This house used to be the center and ‘talk’ of the small town, where people share their stories and laughs. Days and nights spent here were craved in the memories and hearts of local Greece people. Luckily, we got to purchase this piece of history and are determined to run it continuously as a happy place, where visitors from all over the world could take part in its existence.

All the furniture in the house has their own story to tell. We therefore kindly ask you to treat them with a bit of love.
The arches which make this house so special were built by the Venetians stationed on the island centuries ago, one of the arches was kissed by an Italian tank during the WW2.

The long dining table for outside dates back to around 1940, the smaller table to write or read and the shelves were made by the last British owner using bar table surface while this house was still a local café 30 years ago.

If you are lucky enough under the week, there will be fresh local supply delivery driving by. Fish, chicken, bread and more.

Other things to note
Important Seasonal Note (July–August):
Due to the very high demand on the island’s water system during peak summer season, some areas in Corfu — including ours — may experience temporary water interruptions in the evenings. This is a widespread issue across the region and is caused by increased strain from tourism during the hottest months.
Local residents have adapted to manage these shortages efficiently, and we do our best to help guests feel comfortable as well. Bottled water can be purchased in the restaurant just opposite or within a very short driving distance in Roda and we recommend planning showers and laundry earlier in the day when possible.

We’re happy to answer any questions — and we appreciate your understanding of the island’s unique rhythms during summer!

Neighborhood highlights

The house is located in the center of a north Corfu local village. Very helpful and friendly neighbours. Very safe and family friendly area. A Greece family restaurant is just opposite and can deliver food to our house from 10:00 to very late at night. As all people living or visiting the village are gathering together and having drinks in the restaurant, you can definitely have some very good talks with the locals.
