Neighborhood highlights

The house is located across the street from a quiet, small cove on Norris Lake, which is less crowded, so you can truly enjoy some quiet time fishing or floating around without a lot of boat traffic. However, if you’re wanting some entertainment head over to the two marinas nearby. You are minutes away from driving or boating to Twin Lake Marina or Mountain Lake Marina. Both marinas are a full service marina with gas, ice, snacks, drinks, food, and boating supplies.
Twin Cove Marina offers the opportunity to rent ski-boats, tritoon boats, double decker party pontoons with slide, or jet skis for the day or the entire week. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights, the marina provides live music to entertain their guests. They offer a full-service restaurant with lunch or dinner options from May to September. Wanting to stop there for lunch, you have the option to dine in or carry-out and continue exploring Norris lake. Wanting to bring back something from your trip or gift a friend or family member, Twin Cove Marina offers a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs to take back home!
If you want to rent an all-new pontoon boat, kayaks, and/or paddleboards, Mountain Lake Marina has you covered! These rentals come with the necessary operating and safety equipment. Mountain Lake Marina also has a brand new marine store and restaurant with merchandise, draft beer, ice cream, and more! The grill at Mountain Lake Marina is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Enjoy a casual dining experience right on the lake. Don’t forget to satisfy your sweet tooth at the Skinny Dip Ice Cream Shop, which serves hand dipped cream cones and fresh spun milkshakes.
Wanting to venture out for the day, Jacksboro is only a 15 minute drive away. There are many boutiques, local dining options, coffee or ice cream parlors, and the well-known fast food restaurants. You’ll find in our guide book many attractions such as golfing, museums, a winery, hiking trails, and a zoo all within a 20-45 minute drive away. The surrounding area has many attractions to offer as well. Downtown Knoxville, which offers a more vibrant downtown scene with live concerts, theater shows, and sporting events is just a 50 minute drive away. If you really want to explore, head down to Pigeon Forge and spend the day at Dollywood Amusement Park or Soaky Mountain Water Park, both around a 1 hour and 15 minute drive. If you’re feeling really adventurous, check out Royal Blue and WindRock ATV trails nearby.
