Welcome to Higgins Lake!
10,000 acres of crystal clear spring water and sandy shores. Holiday Cottage is a cute 2 bed, 1 bath ready stocked with fresh linens. Short 5 minute walk to lake and Samoset Park, beach, and dock from our charming cottage. Spectacular views of both sunrise and sunsets from Samoset.
Swim or kayak from the shared dock. We have 2-3 kayaks for guest use. Several nearby boat launches. Ten minutes from two state parks. One hour from Traverse City. 99 miles to Mackinaw Bridge
The space
*Comfortable and Clean!
*2 bedrooms with 3 queen beds and fold down log futon comfortably sleeps 6
people. *Freshly painted
*New stamped concrete patios!
*Enormous driveway to park your toys! (Unlike most ABB’s in the area)
*Dock nearby
*Fire pit and firewood to get you started
*2-3 Kayaks are provided (with completed waivers) and a Kayak dolly.
*Fresh bath Towels, some toiletries, and bedding are supplied (you will want to bring your own beach towels).
*Lots of board games
* Numerous Outdoor games including Bean Bag toss, yard dice, Ring swing and more!
* Some beach equipment will be available including a wagon.
* Sprayed monthly for Mosquitoes and Ticks
Guest access
Guests will have access to all the cottage and guest sheds The small barn, 1 closet, and 1 cabinet will remain locked with owners items.
Other things to note
*There is a small boat launch a 2 minute drive down the street.
*Parking space for 1 trailer or boat (Must notify owner upon making reservation)
* RV’s are an extra charge ( 50 amp outlet available)
*Some seasonal items will be available for use
