Experience heritage and relaxation! Stay in this beautifully renovated 1827 stone home on the Rideau Canal, accommodating up to 14 guests. Enjoy kayaking to Merrickville, book farm experiences nearby, or unwind in our new sauna and cold plunge. Watch boats glide by from the deck, soak in the serene setting, and make memories with friends and family. Pets welcome ($25 fee).

The space
The main floor includes a large family room with a TV, coat closet, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, open kitchen and dining room. The 2nd bedroom can be converted to an open space or 2nd living room to host larger gatherings and events. The second floor includes 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a reading nook, a laundry room and access to the large 2nd floor deck.

Guest access
The entire house and 4 acres property are all yours. There are no neighbors on either side or across the street. Access to the Rideau Canal is a short walk down a path to Clowes Locks. Our farm, Heritage Stables, is a short 3 minute walk away.

We are in a rural area with several horse farms in the neighborhood. Heritage Drive is considered a secondary highway with a speed limit of 80 km. Traffic is light during the night. Dubbed 'the Jewel of the Rideau', the small town of Merrickville is just 3 km away. It is a popular destination boasting history, great food, and a unique shopping experience.
