HemaHomes is a haven for retreat seekers and nature-lovers. A space to relax and unwind. A real gem for all those looking to enjoy a serene and peaceful space.

“Hema” is a Swahili word that means “Breathe & Tent”. We intend to make sure every moment you spend here, you are well secured and relaxed.

The space
The guest suite shares the main gate to the compound but is independent from the main house where I and my family live. Our neighborhood is well secured, and our compound has 4 dogs and an alarmed security system in case of any emergency.

The guest houses are beautifully furnished to make your stay effortless. This self-contained home includes a fully furnished kitchenette, living space, and a modern equipped bathroom accompanied with toiletries.

The entire space is expressed by its modern-African touch through its decorations. HemaHomes are surrounded by natural scenery - trees, flowers that attract various species of birds and provides an urban farm experience to guests who desire to live in a green environment and cool weather.

HemaHomes are located close to several best beaches in the country (15-20 mins drive) and the Historical slave trade town of Bagamoyo, only 30 to 45 mins drive from Hema Homes.
