In our lovingly furnished apartment "HeidAway" in Braderup, 2-4 people will find space on 34 square meters, with a walk-in covered terrace (10 sqm) + access to the garden (300 sqm) with beach chair.

The apartment is newly renovated and has a spacious, nicely furnished living/bedroom with double bed and pull-out sofa (both 160x200cm), kitchen & bathroom.

The terrace provides protection from wind and rain, so in summer all meals can actually be enjoyed outside.

The space
The HeidAway has a walk-in covered terrace for private use overlooking the protected garden. There is a table with six seats located on the terrace.

In the quiet garden are also a sun terrace, a beach chair and two sun loungers for shared use. After visiting the beach, the wet laundry can comfortably be hung outside on the large laundry spider, which is also located in the sunny garden.

The apartment is rented directly by the owner family. A family with two children can comfortably find space in it, the ideal is the use for two.

A dining table with four chairs is available, as well as a wardrobe. Self-catering is possible in the well appointed kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is the shower room.

If you love nature and like it rural and quiet, our HeidAway is the place to be. The apartment is located in the heart of the island in Braderup, close to nature and quiet on the edge of the Braderuper Heide and in the immediate vicinity of the "nature center", which strives to maintain and maintain the heath.

As an eastern village part of Wenningstedt, the tranquil Braderup is an ideal place for a quiet holiday, away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by nature – idyllically located on the mudflat side of the island, close to the nature reserve "Braderuper Heide". We are an enterprising family with two now adult children. Over the years, we've used the hospitality of many families in many different countries on our travels, from Cuxhaven to Cuba, to Kuala Lumpur. Vacationing in an apartment is always a nice way for us to travel easily with children on the one hand, but on the other hand to get to know the country from a different, more private side. Unfortunately, the grandparents of our children can no longer live in their apartment on Sylt and so we have become hosts ourselves. We have lovingly renovated and prepared the two small apartments, have furnished everything as we would have liked and with everything we appreciated or sometimes missed on our trips. We offer this to our guests and are happy to share some of the hospitality we have experienced anywhere in the world. We live and work mostly in Hamburg, but spend as much time as possible on Sylt – David's home island - in our apartment right next to our two HeidAways. We are an adventure-loving family with two now grown-up children. Over the years we have enjoyed the hospitality of many families in many different countries - from Cuxhaven to Cuba and Kuala Lumpur. For us, staying in a holiday apartment is always a wonderful opportunity to have an easy-going vacation with children on the one hand, but also to get to know the country from a different, more private perspective. Unfortunately, the grandparents of our children can no longer live in their apartment on Sylt and so we have become hosts ourselves. We have lovingly renovated and refurbished both small apartments, furnished everything as we would like it to be and with everything that we appreciated or sometimes missed on our travels.
