Located in the heart of Onna Village on Okinawa Island, the Guava Shack boasts a convenient setting, just an hour's drive from Naha Airport and approximately one hour from the renowned Churaumi Aquarium. Discover nearby secluded beaches, offering pristine sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for unwinding and exploration.
Wake up to the sounds of tropical plants dancing in the wind and birds singing. Enjoy your complimentary morning coffee or tea with the ocean breeze.
During fruit season, pick your own breakfast from the banana tree right off of your private lanai.
We provide two main beds, one extra bed, and one air mattress (all single-sized). Along with the bedrooms, you'll have a living room, kitchen, bathroom, washroom, toilet, and a lanai (balcony) to enjoy a comfortable stay. There are parking spaces for two cars.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, IH stove, kettle, pots, pans, tongs, cutting board, knives, stainless steel bowl, strainer, corkscrew, coffee mill, dripper, dish sponge, dishwashing detergent, and a draining basket. The kitchenware includes plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and cutlery.
*Please note that oil and seasonings are not provided, so please prepare them for cooking.

We pride ourselves on the highest cleaning standards and use eco-friendly pest spray each quarter, but that doesn't always stop the rare gecko or insect from visiting the house. We do provide bug spray for you underneath the kitchen sink. These insects are everywhere on island so please follow the house rules to avoid attracting them into the home.
- As our property is made of wood, we strictly prohibit smoking, fireworks, and any other open flames.
- All ages are welcome at the Guava Shack, however we do not have special accommodations specific to infants and young children.
