This spacious 588 sqft private guest suite offers a California King bed, queen sofa bed, kitchenette, workspace, and a charming deck with peaceful forest views. Enjoy the sounds of a nearby creek and the feeling of being tucked away in nature — all while staying close to Portland’s best dining, trails, and attractions.

The space
This spacious 588 sqft open-concept guest suite is thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and calm. Located on the lower level of our detached garage — completely separate from our main home — the space offers privacy, peaceful views, and a true feeling of escape.

Inside, you’ll find a California King-size bed for restful sleep, along with a queen-size sofa bed for additional guests. A cozy little kitchenette makes it easy to prepare light meals or your morning coffee, while a working desk and dining table create flexible space for both relaxation and productivity.

Large windows look out over the surrounding woodland landscape, offering serene views of towering trees, lush greenery, and the gentle sounds of a nearby creek. Step outside onto your own private deck and patio — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine in the evening, surrounded by nature.

Despite the feeling of being tucked away in the forest, the Green Hills Hideaway is just minutes from the best of the city. Explore nearby hiking trails in Forest Park, catch a concert at the Oregon Zoo, or experience Portland’s vibrant food and coffee scene — all within a short drive.
