The space
Open-air jungle home with 1 bedroom, with option to add bunk beds in the alcove,2 baths, kitchen, AC, washer, and a deck for sunsets. Hammocks, garden, and a 25m shared pool with yoga shala are yours to enjoy. Expect friendly dogs, cats, and free-ranging chickens, plus visits from birds, monkeys, and sloths. Parking is uphill near the house or below by the pool; stairs connect the spaces. Our property manager lives in a private apartment on-site for support when needed.

This house is your home during your stay. Your hosts live in a private apartment on the property and run @gratefulsurfyoga, offering yoga, Ayurveda, beach trips, and English lessons. We’re nearby if you need us, but you’ll have complete privacy to enjoy your stay.

Other things to note
This is an open-air eco-home, you’ll hear and see wildlife including birds, monkeys, sloths, chickens, and our friendly dogs and cat. It has gorgeous vaulted ceilings, fabulous sunsets, and a nice breeze to keep the heat down comparatively to town.
The property is located in a rural area; if you have car or ATV great, but if you don't, we got you covered with a reliable taxi service. The road up is about 600m of dirt , paving stone, and incline once you get off the main highway. It is a very short drive from the highway and easy to get to.
There are stairs down to the pool and yoga shala, they can be slippery and the terrain is often uneven all around the property as it's in the jungle near the ocean.. Parking is available both uphill near the house and down by the pool.
The closest grocery stores and restaurants are in San Juan del Sur (5 minutes by car). Nearby pulperías offer basic staples and local produce.
The home does not have hot water. There are power cuts from time to time as is normal with Nicaragua. Bring back up chargers.
