The space
The Small Tract Act of 1938 granted 5 acre parcels of the Mojave Desert to anyone willing to improve the land. Grateful Desert Cabin is a small house built toward this intent by Donna Hale and her father in 1948. We invite our guests to imagine what life in the hi-desert may have been like 77 years ago.

Guests have complete, private access to the cabin and the five acres it sits on.
