Valley and lake views

Guests say the views are lovely.
Take a vacation from your problems in this spacious & cozy cabin on a working flower farm in the mountains.

Nestled next to the flower fields and central on our 260 acres of pasture and forest with walking/skiing trails throughout, the Gourmet Cabin is a place to take a break from the bullshit and melt into the Vermontness of it all.

The space
The space is like being in a dream. A timber frame built from our own woods, high ceilings, natural light galore and custom details throughout, the Gourmet Cabin is for those who want to feel luxuriously held in a space away from time.

Pretty much, if you're into spaces that are radical, nurturing and decadent. this space is for you.

Guest access
The entire space is yours during your stay. You are welcome to explore the farm as well. We have 40 acres of pasture and 260 acres of woods to explore on foot or skis.

Other things to note
There is a sleeping loft with a very sturdy ladder. You must climb the ladder to access the bedroom, and must take great care when climbing up and down.

There is a woodstove in the space, but unfortunately, due to insurance companies being buttheads, renters are not allowed to use the stove. The space is heated with a quiet propane heater.

Bring slippers. While the space stays warm and cozy in the winter, the floor is usually cold, since it's built on piers.

There is wifi in the space and it often works very well, though this is rural Vermont and sometimes the wifi does not work very well, and sometimes is out for a bit. We're working on a solve, but for now, be aware there may be stretches of poor internet during your stay. Think of it as an opportunity to unplug and bask in the glory of mindfulness and presence.

Neighborhood highlights

We live in, objectively, the most beautiful place in the world. We have a view of the mountains with rolling hills and flower fields below.

Bethel is home to the best bar in the world (Babes Bar), Randolph has the best Thai food in Vermont (Saap), and Randolph and Rochester both have world class mountain bike trails (check out Ridgeline).

We are 30 minutes from the Snow Bowl, Saskadena Six, & Killington and ~45 minutes to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen for downhill skiers, ~35 minutes from Rikert, Blueberry Lake and Woodstock for nordic skiers, and ~30 minutes of amazing back country ski spots in Braintree and Brandon.

Generally, we're central to many points of interest - it's about a ~40 minute drive from Woodstock, Killington, Hanover, White River Junction, Montpelier, the Mad River Vally and Middlebury. All your immediate needs can be covered in a 10 minute drive between Bethel and Randolph.
