During the Summer months we occasionally have increased plane noise due to more holiday flights in/out of Gatwick and depending on wind direction and flight paths.

Neighborhood highlights
Tunbridge Wells is a beautiful town with plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Unusually it also has a huge common with giant sandstone rocks! The Pantiles has lots of outdoor eating spots, cafes, restaurants and tea rooms with the yummiest cakes. There is a great buzz in the summer with Gin & Jazz festivals and outdoor markets. The old high street has some lovely shops, quirky tea rooms & adds a touch of luxury to the town. Camden Road has some popular independent restaurants and shops. St John’s Road has some fun bars, great pizza, fab coffee shops and escape rooms to entertain you if the weather turns miserable! Then the central shopping area itself also has an array of eateries, coffee shops, and all the larger stores you would expect in a town centre.
On our doorstep the villages of Langton Green, Speldhurst and Rusthall also offer plenty of amenities by way of village shops, pubs, mini supermarket, cafes, bakerys, a butcher, takeaways, playgrounds, woodland walks and various footpaths.
A tiny drive away are High Rocks, Eridge Rocks and Harrison Rocks if you are looking for climbing or walking adventures. Or Bowles for outdoor children’s activities. So much to do here if you love the outdoors!
We have plenty of road cycling on our doorstep. If you prefer no cars, the lovely Forest Way (disused railway) takes you from Groombridge to East Grinstead.
