This house is located in an incredible location-- the middle of Gion Shijo!! This is Kyoto's historical district where buildings have been kept in the traditional style, geisha walk the streets, and Kabuki theater is performed nearby. Hanami-koji, also known as the Geisha street, is only one street away! The famous Yasaka shrine is also nearby, and the area is filled with good restaurants and artisanal shops. It is a very busy, bustling district, active at night as well!
