Our Garden Cottage is a cute cottage of 36 m2 + an attic for extra sleeping space.
There is a wood heated sauna, a traditional stove and a small kitchen with basic utensils. We have a spacious garden and a private car parking.
The Garden Cottage is located 2 km from the city centre of Rovaniemi, and 10 km from Rovaniemi airport and the Santa Claus Village.
The space
The main room of Garden Cottage 29 has a high ceiling, which creates a bright, spacious and calm atmosphere.
The attic is cosy for two adults or children. The space is quite low (max. 1.57 m. high) and small (9 m2). See the floor plan as well.
The ladder to the attic is high (2.50 M.) and steep. Be careful!
Guest access
A part of the garden cottage is a private storage and a bicycle storage. Those are not for guest use. The rest of the cottage, the parts you see on the pictures, are there for you.
Other things to note
Bed sheets and towels are included.
The Garden Cottage has fast internet (450Mbit/s). The internet is solely for the Garden Cottage, you do not share this wifi network with anybody else but the people you are with.
One batch of firewood and instructions how to use the sauna is included in the rental price. If you would like to use more firewood after, we sell firewood for 5,-€ per batch.
Behind the Garden Cottage is a road. In the cottage you will hear occasionally sounds from cars, motorbikes and in wintertime snow plows. If you are a light sleeper this might be a nuisance. Unfortunately we can not do anything about the sounds of traffic.
Our house is on the same yard, opposite from the guesthouse.
We can do your laundry; one bag of laundry 5,- €.
Families are welcome.
If Northern Lights are strong and there is a clear sky, you might see Northern Lights from our garden in wintertime. We can recommend you places to see northern lights, both on walking distance or by car.

Garden Cottage 29 is in a residential neighborhood. Location is close to the centre but forest like.
It is likely to see hares in the evening. Squirrels and many kinds of birds visit our garden daily. If you are really lucky you might even see a reindeer, fox or a woodpecker.
