The space
Conveniently located only 1/2 mile to Lake Nantahala, and just close to Wayah Road/Mountain Waters Scenic Byway, guests can relax for hours on the spacious decks, soaking up the spectacular mountain views, cozy up with a good book or a family game, stargaze around the firepit, or soak in the hot tub.
With a boat ramp into Lake Nantahala at Rocky Branch Public boat launch around the corner, and our kayaks available for guest use, plus boat rentals just down the street, getting on the water is no problem! This is also the ideal spot if you're attending a wedding or event at Nantahala Weddings & Events! There is an abundance of outdoor activities in the area, including hiking, boating, fishing, and rafting. There area with several nearby white water outfitters. The Nantahala River is 15 minutes from the cabin and offers championship fly fishing. We’re 19 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center and only 12 miles from their whitewater rafting launch site!
For hiking enthusiasts you will be surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest, with convenient access to the Appalachian Trail, and Bartram Trail.
This is a great location to use as home base while taking day trips all around Western North Carolina
There are 3 spacious levels of living in this peaceful cabin. The main floor features the fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, full bath, and bedroom with two queen bunk beds, and a twin bed.
The airy loft features a comfy king-sized bed with mountain views, a full bathroom with a step-in shower, and a walk-in closet.
The lower level features a private entrance, full bathroom, bedroom with two full sized beds, a sitting area with a sofa bed, game area with pool table, arcade game, additional TV with ROKU, and a kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and basic dishes.
As part of the remote mountain experience, the cabin has wifi provided by Starlink satellite internet but no cell phone service.
