Experience French Quarter history from this elegant third-floor apartment inside French Quarter Mansion. Built in 1820 and designed by Cristina Burgos, the apartment combines original architectural character with rich Victorian-inspired details and modern comforts.
At approximately 400 square feet, the apartment features 14-foot ceilings, a dramatic five-foot crystal chandelier, original hardwood floors, textured walls, artwork, an original black marble mantel, and an elegant marble bathroom.
French doors open onto an exterior gallery overlooking Dumaine Street with views toward nearby Bourbon Street. It is a memorable place to enjoy morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or the passing sights and sounds of the French Quarter.
SLEEPING AREA
The open sleeping area includes two queen beds with extra-plush Tempur-Pedic top layers and premium linens. A twin sleeper chair provides an additional sleeping option. The apartment can accommodate up to five guests, although groups using the sleeper chair should expect a cozier shared layout.
LIVING AREA
The intimate sitting area is surrounded by historic architectural details, elegant furnishings, and abundant natural light from the French doors.
KITCHENETTE
The kitchenette includes a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, kitchenware, and microwave-safe cookware for drinks, breakfast, snacks, leftovers, and simple microwave meals. Please note that there is no stovetop or oven.
BATHROOM
The marble bathroom features distinctive design details and a walk-in shower with a handheld shower fixture. Towels and toiletries are provided.
BALCONY GALLERY
Step through the French doors onto the exterior gallery overlooking Dumaine Street, with an adjacent view toward Bourbon Street. The apartment does not directly front Bourbon Street.
The gallery is shared with neighboring apartments, so guests may occasionally encounter others enjoying the outdoor space.

French Quarter Mansion is located on Dumaine Street, just around the corner from Bourbon Street. Royal Street, Jackson Square, Café du Monde, the French Market, restaurants, galleries, nightlife, and the Mississippi Riverfront are all within walking distance.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
This apartment is located on the third floor and requires climbing multiple flights of narrow, winding historic stairs. There is no elevator. The climb can be challenging with luggage and is not recommended for guests with limited mobility.
The apartment has an open, studio-style layout rather than separate bedrooms. Both queen beds and the twin sleeper chair are located within the same room.
Parking is not provided onsite and can be limited in the French Quarter. Guests arriving by car should reserve nearby paid parking in advance.

We completely understand travel schedules can vary, and when we’re able to, we’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out. These are only possible when our cleaning and preparation schedule allows and cannot be guaranteed or planned in advance.
Because each stay is carefully scheduled, we’re not able to confirm these requests ahead of time, but if availability opens up closer to your arrival or departure, we’ll always reach out and let you know.
PARKING (FRENCH QUARTER)
You’re staying in the heart of the French Quarter—one of the most walkable and vibrant areas in New Orleans—so most guests find a car is not necessary during their stay.
We do not offer onsite parking. Street parking is available nearby, but it is limited, metered during the day (7 AM–7 PM) with 2-hour limits, and free overnight where permitted (7 PM–7 AM). As always in the French Quarter, please carefully follow posted signage.
There are also several nearby paid parking garages throughout the area, including Premium Parking and other private parking operators. These are independent third-party companies not affiliated with the property and operate at their own set rates and availability. Guests often find the Premium Parking app helpful for locating and reserving parking in advance.
When available, there is also a loading zone directly in front of the property that may allow for quick drop-off, pickup, or luggage loading. This is not guaranteed and is subject to city enforcement and availability.

The home has been thoughtfully updated for modern comfort while maintaining many original architectural features, including doors, walls, and windows. These details reflect the authentic history of the building and the city itself.
