You will be dazzled as you enter this unit by the rustic high-beam ceilings adorned with a dramatic 5 ft Chandelier, original 200-year-old hardwood floors, and 2 fireplaces with original exposed bricks. The space
The uniqueness of this unit reveals that attention to detail is primary. When you walk into this unit, you will be dazzled by the 14 foot ceilings which are adorned by a dramatic brass chandelier; the beautifully enriched hardwood floors, together with the fireplace, bed crowns, french drapes and marble bathroom will take you back in time to the glory days of French opulence.

**The Royal is located on the 2nd floor and the building does not have an elevator**

To further enhance your experience, make your way to the over sized balcony thru the wall to wall french doors, and enjoy your morning coffee, or sip wine in the evening while appreciating Bourbon and Dumaine street. This 475 sf unit is designed to comfortably accommodate 4 guests, however, an additional queen sofa bed can sleep very comfortably 2 more people.

You will rest well knowing that this very private residence is gated with secure pass-code access. Housekeeping cleaning services available upon your request.

PARKING
Due to its location in the heart of the city, we do not have onsite parking of our own. There is metered parking with a 2-hour limit between 7 AM and 7 PM, and it's first come first serve. Overnight street parking is free and has no limitations between 7 PM and 7 AM. It's essential to pay attention to street signage to identify the areas where parking is allowed.

There are also 12 parking lots/garages throughout the French Quarter area. Most of the garages and lots are operated by Premium Parking. We recommend you download the Premium Parking app to locate the best parking option for you.

HISTORIC LOCATION
The historic creole mansion known as the French Quarter Mansion was built in 1820 for Christian Rosaleus, the founder of the very prestigious Tulane University School of Law. Today it is one of the most photographed buildings in the French Quarter as it holds the U Need A Biscuit Sign on its side.

We have completely renovated the building and while doing so we preserved as much of its historical value as possible. This makes this building special and we hope you enjoy the work that was completed to preserve the space.

With all the historical buildings in city centers, we want you to be aware of some items that need more tender loving care.

This Airbnb is on the 3rd floor the building does not have an elevator.

Many features of this Airbnb are original such as floors, doors, walls, and windows.

The brick walls have been painted so there is minimal brick dust that will fall but please be aware if the walls are touched there may be some dust.
