Stay in this private spacious condo, exclusive to you in this "U Need A Biscuit" building that has been featured in numerous photography and travel blogs. You can enjoy breathtaking views of Bourbon and Dumaine streets while sipping your morning coffee or evening wine on the oversized balcony accessed through the wall-to-wall French doors. The space is equipped with two queen size beds, a sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom with a quiet courtyard with fountain within our gated grounds.

The space
This 310 sq ft unit boasts unique attention to detail. As you step into the white Victorian suite, the 18-foot ceilings adorned with a dramatic five-foot hanging Crystal French chandelier will leave you dazzled. The beautifully enriched hardwood floors, bed crowns, French drapes, fireplace, and marble bathroom will transport you back to the glory days of French opulence.

For an even more enjoyable experience, head to the oversized balcony through the wall-to-wall French doors and savor your morning coffee or evening wine while enjoying the Bourbon and Dumaine street views. The unit can comfortably accommodate 4 guests, with an additional twin chair bed available to sleep a 5th person. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, blender, and kitchenware, including microwave cooking pots that can be used to cook or reheat meals.

You can rest easy knowing that this private residence is gated with secure passcode access. Bring your wine and relax in the cozy courtyard.

Please note that The Bourbon is located on the 2nd floor and the building does not have an elevator.

Guest access
You will have your own place with an ensuite bathroom, and balcony. There is a common area courtyard for all guests to enjoy and relax next to the sounds of the soothing water fountain and fish pond.

Early check-in or late check-out may be possible at an extra charge, depending on the availability, and can’t be guaranteed.

We do have luggage storage located on the first floor, free of charge for our guests to use.

PARKING
Due to its location in the heart of the city, we do not have onsite parking of our own. There is metered parking with a 2-hour limit between 7 AM and 7 PM, and it's first come first serve. Overnight street parking is free and has no limitations between 7 PM and 7 AM. It's essential to pay attention to street signage to identify the areas where parking is allowed.

There are also 12 parking lots/garages throughout the French Quarter area. Most of the garages and lots are operated by Premium Parking. We recommend you download the Premium Parking app to locate the best parking option for you.

HISTORIC LOCATION
The historic creole mansion known as the French Quarter Mansion was built in 1820 for Christian Rosaleus, the founder of the very prestigious Tulane University School of Law. Today it is one of the most photographed buildings in the French Quarter as it holds the U Need A Biscuit Sign on its side.

We have completely renovated the building and while doing so we preserved as much of its historical value as possible. This makes this building special and we hope you enjoy the work that was completed to preserve the space.

With all the historical buildings in city centers, we want you to be aware of some items that need more tender loving care.

This Airbnb is on the 3rd floor the building does not have an elevator.

Many features of this Airbnb are original such as floors, doors, walls, and windows.

The brick walls have been painted so there is minimal brick dust that will fall but please be aware if the walls are touched there may be some dust.

We are in the center of the french quarter, Watch horse-drawn carriages stroll down the street right outside your window. Any cuisine your heart desires and plenty of live music to be found to the left on Bourbon Street.
