This one bedroom tiny home is done in a rustic-modern theme. The home is 216 square feet, with unique ship-lap interior walls. The home sits on an 18 acre lake and a private beach. Enjoy our kayaks and some of the best fishing in northern Ohio. Don't forget a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The home is equipped with a stove top, refrigerator, microwave, shower, and washer dryer combo. There is a lofted bed, giving extra room on the floor. There is also a 7X10 shed for extra space.
The space
Brothers Larry and Mark Fisher invite you to their custom-built tiny house, featuring a lofted bed with a full size mattress. Guests will have access to another 20 acres of grassland and wooded walking paths. Although just 1500 feet off of the road, you will feel the quiet and solitude of nature. We all live within 2 miles of the cabin and will be available if any issues arrive. Our goal is for you to have a great stay, and we will work to make that happen. Our listing is currently for 2 people. There is a 7x10 shed with windows that is yours to use also for extra space and storage. Also, please be aware that there is a cabin also on the property that is rented out, but it is 400 feet from your location, and you will have a private beach and kayaks for your own use. Also, as this is a tiny home, be aware that there is hot water, but the tank is on the smaller side. There is enough hot water for about a 5 minute shower. You will have to wait a few minutes for more hot water.

Check-in is at 4 p.m. We will email you with check-in instructions 3 to 4 days before your arrival.
Check out policy:
Check-out is at 10 a.m. sharp. We ask you to clean the dishes and put them away or leave them on the drying rack in the kitchen. Also, please put all towels that are used in the shower.

The Property:
The Cole Creek Acres cabin is set on 100 acres that have been in our family since 1963. Our lake is a former gravel quarry and is up to 35 feet deep. The lake is spring-fed, and the fishing is excellent. We think you will love the morning view overlooking the lake and the evening sunsets from the front porch.
The tiny house has all the modern amenities, including electric heat, air conditioning, high speed internet, and a television. There is a propane grill and a spacious covered front porch. Enjoy the fire pit steps away from the cabin, as well as a private beach. Feel free to grab one of our kayaks to explore the water. We have life jackets available and highly recommend children under 18 and anyone who is not a strong swimmer wear one. There is no lifeguard on duty, no diving, and swimming is at your own risk.
You have full access to the lake, and the sand beach in front of the tiny house is all yours. We have the occasional family member on the water, and our family does have a few campers a quarter-mile from the cabin and across the lake. There is also a cabin on the property, but it is over 400 feet from the tiny house. You will have access to woods to take a stroll in the woods or Cole Creek itself. We just ask that you respect property lines and not go across Cole Creek into our crop fields.
IMPORTANT: Although the driveway is solid, it is possible in severe winter weather that 4 wheel drive may be necessary. We will make a reasonable effort to remove snow, but we can not guarantee this in severe weather.
Local attractions and amenities:
Local attractions include Cedar Point, Lake Erie, Sports Force Park, and the Norwalk Drag Strip. All are around 30 minutes or less away. Norwalk has several restaurants and grocery stores, all within a short drive. Look for our electronic guidebook that we will email you with our favorite local restaurants, shops, parks, and other attractions.
Amenities include a Smart TV, high speed Internet, plenty of parking, linens and towels, two kayaks and paddles, life jackets, a propane grill, a, a fire pit with wood supplied, kitchen with essentials such as salt/pepper, oils, sugar, and coffee, cups, plates, bowls, and pots and pans. There is a microwave and stove top for cooking. There is also a washer/dryer combination unit. You will also have a private sandy beach area.
Grocery stores and restaurants are located in Norwalk. There are several of each within a 10-minute drive, including Wal-Mart. See our electronic guidebook for recommendations.
Policies and rules:
Some of these policies outline how we enforce the Airbnb Guest Standards. Policies may be mediated or enforced by Airbnb or law enforcement. When reasonably possible, we will seek to address policy concerns with you directly before asking Airbnb or law enforcement to intervene. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the terms in our listing.
Major cleanliness concerns:
• Guests who leave the cabin in a particularly unacceptable condition may be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50/hr plus cleaner’s mileage in addition to the cost of any rental or purchase of cleaning equipment & supplies required to remedy the issues.
• Strong odors will incur the additional cleaning fees noted above.
• Guests are responsible for replacement/cleaning costs of damaged items. Items that require replacement will be charged at the cost of a NEW same/similar item. Even if Airbnb depreciates the item due to its age, you agree to pay for a NEW item. We agree to fairly represent replacement costs and to attempt to replace an item at a reasonable price as much as possible.
• Should guests leave such a mess or damage that we are unable to accommodate our next booking, additional fees (beyond the cleaning fee noted above) include reimbursement for any cancellation or rebooking fees we might incur due to being unable to accommodate the next guest(s), the cost to place the next guest(s) in another location, reimbursement for other costs we might incur for the closure, plus up to $200/day per 24 hrs of closure. Any insurance payment/reimbursement we receive related to the mess/damage will not reduce the amount owed.
Unauthorized guests:
• Anyone not counted/included on a reservation is an unauthorized guest. Make sure to include children in the reservation.
• Guests who make a reservation must provide Airbnb a government ID and be one of the guests staying (no third-party bookings). We may request to see your ID.
• You are welcome to request changes to the number of guests if needed. Fees will be adjusted up or down at our standard extra person rates as long as you let us know before your stay.
• If you bring more people than our stated maximum occupancy, each extra person is $50 per person, per night, for the entire length of the booking, regardless of how long the person remains on our property. These guests remain unauthorized guests, and we can ask Airbnb to charge you for these guests even if you don’t agree to the charges.
If you bring unauthorized guests, everyone may be asked to vacate the property immediately or at any time during a reservation, with no refunds for any remaining nights.

Parking:
• Park vehicles in stone parking next to the tiny house
• Do not park any vehicles below the tiny house or in the grass area
Smoking:
• No smoking or vaping indoors. Before any outdoor use, close nearby doors and windows to avoid smoke smells inside the cabin. Please stay 25 feet away from the tiny house
• Extinguish and dispose of butts properly
• Many guests are sensitive to smoke. Take care to avoid bringing in smoky smells on clothing or personal items
• Smoky or inhaled substance smells will incur a minimum $200 fee, in addition to cleaning or closure fees

• A guest who checks out late is a big challenge for us. We compensate our cleaners when they are sitting waiting for your departure.

• No early check-in unless previously arranged. Guests who arrive prior to 4 pm will be asked to wait until we are finished cleaning.
• Self-service check-in, so it’s no problem to arrive late at night
Pets:
• At this time, we do not allow pets

Children:
• We are happy to have children of any age :)
• Note that there are natural outdoor hazards on our property
Parties:
• Airbnb does not permit parties of any type
• Guests may be asked to vacate immediately
• No refund for remaining stay
• Cleaning/closure fees apply
• Legal/police intervention may occur
Substance abuse:
• No smoking/vaping anywhere on property for guests under age 21. This applies to tobacco and marijuana.
• No underage drinking (under 21)
• Be respectful and avoid excess alcohol
• No use of any substance prohibited by law in Ohio
* No use on our property, on adjacent/nearby public or private properties, or on shared areas such as the road leading to our property. Guests will be asked to leave immediately with no refund, even if we have not personally observed usage. Reports of usage by neighbors, security team members, or law enforcement will incur the same action and penalties as if we had personally observed usage.
Guest access
You will be a beach in front of the tiny house that is exclusively yours. We also have several acres of woods and grassy areas that you may explore. We ask you not to go near the cabin on the property, or the beach in front of the cabin. You may use the entire 18 acre lake for swimming and kayaking. We do have a family camping area across the lake from the tiny house that is only for our use. We also have a cabin on the property that is also for guests. The cabin is over 400 feet from the Tiny House.
