Welcome to Firefly Serenade—your private pondside escape in the heart of Hochatown. Soak in the hot tub under the stars, cast a line in the stocked pond, or unwind by the fire pit with s’mores and a good drink. Inside, enjoy a king suite, full kitchen, and a cozy loft perfect for kids. Just minutes from Beavers Bend State Park, wineries, and local shops. Whether it’s a family getaway or a quiet retreat, this cabin offers peace, play, and plenty of charm.

The space
Master Bedroom:
The well appointed master bedroom contains a king sized bed and TV for those late nights spent watching your favorite movies. The TV is a smart TV so that you can access your favorite streaming services as well as local cable TV channels. There is a box fan and suitcase stands included in the master bedroom.

Loft:
The loft contains two twin sized beds that are perfect for kids. The loft is at the top of an amazing spiral staircase and is open to the living room and kitchen below. The Loft also contains a super fun, oversized connect four game for families to play.

Kitchen:
The Kitchen is fully equipped and includes a coffee pot/keurig combo, toaster, mixer, and croc pot. The kitchen has 4 place settings and also includes a set of child friendly plates cups and bowls. Wine glasses and a cork screw are included so that you can enjoy your favorite bottle from Girls Gone Wine. The Coffee Pot is a dual coffee pot with a keurig! Several K cups and starter coffee are provided. There is also a coffee grinder so you can bring your own beans and enjoy your favorite cup! A Tea Kettle is provided in the cabinets and the fridge has filtered water from the door :-)

Patio:
The Patio has an outdoor sofa, A High End Propane grill, and hot tub. Propane for the grill is provided, should the propane run out there is a back up bottle that can easily be swapped.

Outdoors:
The backyard area includes horseshoe pits, a playhouse, a brand new hammock, and a firepit for roasting marshmallows in the evening at the fire pit by the pond. The Pond is stocked with Bluegill, Bass, and Catfish. They are easy to catch on a small hook and worm setup! This is a great opportunity for the kids to catch their first fish! Spend the evening out back soaking it all in.

Firewood:
We try to keep firewood stocked for guest usage.

Guest access
Guests will have unrestricted access to the interior and exterior of the property. A unique door code will be provided prior to guest check-in that will allow you into the home for the duration of your stay.

Instructions provided in the host guide inside the cabin
Add one packet of chemicals per day for multi-day stays (after the first day)
No bubbles, oils, or soaps—they damage the system

Grill tools are in the kitchen (bottom drawer)
A backup propane tank is available if needed

Neighborhood highlights

This is a smaller development in Hochatown with TWO ponds that backs up to the Ouachita National Forest. Full of newer build cabins that have all the charm you would expect in Hochatown. Firefly Serenade is located near a cul-de-sac which makes it the perfect quiet get away for a couple or a small family. Sit on the back porch and enjoy the views of the pond. Light a fire in the fire pit and enjoy conversation and s'mores deep into the night around the fire.

This Cabin is located in a pine forest on a pond. Efforts are made to keep insects and nature from the inside of the home but cannot be prevented in outdoor areas. Pest control treatments are conducted on a routine basis. Should you encounter an issue with bugs or pests, please let the host know as soon as it happens so that it can be remedied. Please keep doors closed at all times to keep nature outside where it belongs.
