The main house has four bedrooms, two living areas, dining room and kitchen. Full-size bunk beds suit adults or children.
A self-contained annexe adds privacy, with bathroom, shower room, and an upstairs living space with kitchen.
Plus a cosy games shed with pool table and fussball game.
The space
Field Cottage sits on a quiet country lane in the Peterstow countryside, offering peace and privacy while still being just 10 minutes from Ross-on-Wye and 20 minutes from Hereford.
Built in 1850, the cottage has four bedrooms upstairs and generous living space downstairs, with two lounges, a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen designed for relaxed, sociable stays.
A self-contained annex, around 10 metres from the house, offers extra privacy with a ground-floor double bedroom and accessible shower room. Upstairs is an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining table, sofa bed and optional camp bed.
Countryside views fill every window, and the distance from neighbours creates a calm, private setting. The enclosed garden is safe for children and welcoming for dogs, with a climbing frame, slide and swing to enjoy.
Guests have private use of the property and self check-in. The surrounding area offers excellent walks and days out for all ages.
Guest access
You’ll have private use of the entire cottage, the separate self-contained annex and the enclosed gardens throughout your stay, with no shared spaces. The layout offers plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy the property at your own pace, both indoors and outside.
Where the calendar allows, early check-in or later check-out may be possible. Please feel free to ask nearer the time of your stay and we’ll always do our best to accommodate if we can.

The main house has a downstairs shower room and an upstairs bathroom without a shower. The annex has an additional downstairs shower room.
A standard outdoor 3-pin socket is available for EV charging if you bring an adapter. A Type 2 adapter is also provided in the house.
The bunk beds in the children’s room are full-size singles suitable for adults, though the décor is child-focused.
This is a quiet countryside home, so parties and loud music are not permitted. If you wish to have any additional visitors during your stay, please ask for permission in advance.
