Minpaku ezora with a panoramic view of the sea and mountains on the small mountain of Otaru.
The scenery changes every moment, and the scenery you want to see for a long time is an unforgettable memory.Guests often want to spend a relaxing time here and come back again.

The room is very beautiful because it has been completely renovated. There are 2 Western-style rooms, so families and groups can keep their time.It has cooking utensils and a washing machine, and there is also WiFi, so it is often used for long-term stays. It is in the middle of Otaru and Sapporo, and it is also close to the high-speed IC, so it is easy to go sightseeing far away.

It is an inconvenient place without a car, but you can also take a taxi from Zenkaku Station.During the winter, you can climb up with a 4WD or a compact car, but please note that you will not be able to move until snow removal is done during heavy snow.

We will charge a separate fee of 2,000 yen (the same amount for up to two dogs, regardless of breed) for up to two dogs staying together. You'll need to sign a dog accommodation agreement, so I'll send you the details when you book.(Rabies vaccination, vaccination required, etc.) * No cats

From April 1, 2026, an accommodation tax will be levied on accommodation in Hokkaido and Otaru City.

The space
[2 story maisonette type]
There is a dining room, kitchen, bathroom and Western-style room (2 beds) on the first floor. There is a stairwell living room and bedroom (two tatami beds) on the second floor, and the window overlooks Ishikari Bay.The view from the window never gets bored, and the sunrise in the morning and the sunset looks beautiful at night.

All rooms are private and private. When staying with 3 or more people, we will provide futons in the Western-style bed on the ground floor.Depending on your preference, you can sleep 1 person on the 1st floor and 1 person on the 2nd floor.

There is a handrail on the stairs to the second floor, but it is a little steep, so it may be inconvenient for children, disabled people, and dogs.

The washing machine, washing and drying, TV, and cooking utensils are generally provided, so it is not inconvenient for long-term stays. One air conditioner is installed on the second floor.

Parking is in front of the entrance, so it is easy to get in and out of travel with a lot of luggage.

Guest access
The room is completely private, and there is no space shared with others.

Other things to note
From April 1, 2026, an accommodation tax will be levied on accommodation in Hokkaido and Otaru City.A total of 300 yen will be charged per guest per night. There will be a separate charge at check-in.

It is not a good place for transportation, so I recommend coming by car.It is about 1,500 yen by taxi from Zangaku Station to here.

In the winter, you can climb up to a light vehicle on a four-wheel drive during the winter, but during heavy snowfall, you can't move until the snow is removed.

There are many insects in the mountains, so if you don't like insects, please consider it.

Please be sure to let us know when you book with your dog. Please be sure to review the dog accommodation agreement form.

Some of the rooms have a bit of a steep staircase and sometimes people with disabilities or dogs can't get up and down.

The room on the second floor has a beautiful view, so the curtains are only part of it.If you can't sleep in a dark environment, I think it's a little painful.

The room on the second floor is a stairwell, so please consider it potentially dangerous for small children or dogs.

Where you’ll be

Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan

Anyway, the panoramic view of the sea from the room is fantastic.
The view changes every minute, so you can't get enough of it.
Surrounded by mountains, you can enjoy nature quietly by going for a walk.
Unfortunately, it's not a good place for those who don't like insects because there are many of them.
Also, some of the windows in the upstairs room don't have curtains so you can enjoy the view, so I think it might be difficult for those who can't sleep if the morning sun is too bright.

Having a car is more convenient as there is no convenience store or supermarket nearby. It takes about 20 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by car to get to the convenience store and supermarket. If you like to walk or want to spend a relaxing time in your room, it is not inconvenient if you do not have a car.

The Zenpo area has recently become more enjoyable with more cafes, variety shops, and restaurants. There is a Zenibako map with lots of information in the room, so please take a look.

It is a 10-minute drive to the ski resort, Snow Cruise Owns! The Zamami Coast is also a 10-minute drive away!

My place is at the top of a mountain. It's quiet and relaxing, but there are no stores and cafes nearby. But if you have a car, Zenibako area has many cafes, restaurants and shops. It just takes 10 minutes to get to the ski resort. There is a Zenibako map in the room.

I lived with my dog in the United States for about 10 years and returned to Otaru, where I was born and raised. In the United States, I always used Airbnb when I travel with dogs, so I started hosting in 2019 because I wanted to create an environment where I could travel with dogs in Hokkaido. The view from the private lodging ezora is a special memory for everyone. You are always welcome! I'm very easy going and love to meet new people. I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. I traveled a lot with my dogs and used Airbnb. I enjoyed that. So now I started as Host!
