In our ART APARTMENT we have tried to weave more history into the interior, the vision and the furniture, partially made and painted by hand, in order to allow you to feel what we are!
The century-old building that has housed the ART APARTMENT EVMOLPIAS is full of history, as is the entire Hristo G. Danov Street.
Our street was main when Plovdiv was the CAPITAL of BULGARIA, and Mr Hristo G. Danov himself is founder of book publishing in Bulgaria.

The space
1. KITCHEN - kitchenette and living room in one.
Our sweet kitchen is designed in warm colors with beautiful oil paintings on the walls, transporting you far to the sea, where you can make and flavor a light salad or enjoy food ordered from outside.
Here you will find a comfortable couch with very cheerful pillows, both for relaxation and for sleeping with a size of 90x200 cm. There are also blackout curtains (instead of blinds) on the window with a mosquito net.
The cutlery, plates and glasses (coffee, water, alcohol, wine, liqueur) are mainly for 4 people, except for the champagne glasses and brandy, which are for 2 people. They also have a garlic press, a parmesan grater, a fruit / vegetable peeler, a citrus strainer, cutting boards, knives, etc. There you will also find high quality olive oil, balsamic vinegar and wine vinegar, Himalayan salt, black pepper and a local spice herb.
There is a DOLCE GUSTO coffee machine for aromatic coffee working with capsules; hot water jug; toaster to toast for breakfast.
Our REFRIGERATOR will send you to some more casual moments with its attractive HAVANA vision, HAND PAINTED by us personally.
2. BEDROOM
In the bedroom we have a large double bed measuring 140x200 cm and a sofa bed, which in the stretched position becomes 120x200 cm, decorated with very cheerful pillows. There are also blackout curtains (instead of blinds) for comfortable and deep sleep, as well as a mosquito net on the window.
You will find a comfortable wardrobe with elegant wooden hangers, an ironing board and a safe, as well as extra pillows and blankets. There is also a UV-disinfecting lamp on the wardrobe, which is FORBIDDEN FOR USE BY GUESTS.
There is an ironing iron and a hair dryer in the dresser, and on the dresser itself there is a TV with built-in WIFI, where you can watch streaming sites such as YOUTUBE, satellite TVs of different nationalities, watch a movie of your choice or just listen radio.
Between the bed and the sofa there is a beautiful antique stool, which is our precious find - a real camel saddle, and on the walls we have hung a photo - a personal work and graphics from Old Plovdiv by a famous Plovdiv artist.
Cooling is done by a FULL DC INVERTOR AIR CONDITIONER for your convenience.
3. CORRIDOR
On the walls of the corridor you will see photos of prominent Bulgarian Revivalists, awakeners, inventors who glorified Bulgaria around the world.
Somewhere in the wooden panel there is an internet router, which we ask you not to move or turn off.
At the bottom is a small corner with souvenirs and interesting items such as a cigar press, a gourd clock, a pitcher - a copy of a relic found during excavations near the town of Zlatograd, a real Georgian wine horn and more.
4. BATH
The bathroom, with its vintage look, is equipped with a real HANDMADE by ME teak wooden sink, finished with epoxy resins.
There are two plates with engraved paintings on the walls. One depicts a fragment of the ANCIENT THEATER in Old Plovdiv, which you will probably visit, and the other is a copy of the GOLDEN RHYTHON, part of the PANAGYUR GOLDEN TREASURE.
The stained glass window on her door was also designed and painted again by my grace :)
Guest access
Guest are allowed to use all the premises of the apartment.
Other things to note
1. The building is more than 100 years old, which on the one hand implies thick walls and cooler air in summer and warm in winter, and on the other hand we succeed to install a full DC INVERTOR AIR CONDITIONER for your convinience.
2. For the same reason, the old plumbing pipes, which are common in all old buildings in the very city center, can sometimes get the water up to the floor more slowly, but within a few minutes everything comes into place. In such cases, we recommend letting the water flow in a warm position so that the water column rises faster.
It sounds complicated, but it's actually simple and painless :)
3. Unlocking and locking shall be made by code valid for the period of stay by the hour. The device does not lock automatically, so you must lock the door with your entry code (just like using the normal key). When we meet you, in case you want it, we will explain you.
4. Please keep the furniture as good owners, so that the same does not happen, in case of damage you pay double.
