Experience this one-of-a-kind home, crafted by a renowned LA interior designer, tattoo artist, & surreal painter. Perched on a charming hill, just 10 min from DTLA, this private sanctuary boasts a spacious outdoor patio w/ breathtaking views of the Hollywood sign & stunning sunsets. Each themed bedroom features generous space and exquisite vanities. Enjoy modern comforts like high-speed Wi-Fi, luxurious Leesa mattresses, a washer/ dryer, & a fully equipped kitchen. A truly memorable stay!

The space
-This is a safe space for everyone! No discrimination here. ❤️

- Large double doors lead to a spacious, sunlit hilltop patio, offering stunning views of the city skyline and, on occasion, fireworks from Dodger Stadium during game nights.

- The living area features a fully equipped kitchen with a mini-fridge, new stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, pots and pans, utensils, and coffee machine. Included is coffee, tea, creamer, Brita water filter, and basic cooking spices.

- Each bedroom includes a Smart TV for your use. Roll out the tv cart to access streaming apps or connect your device with the HDMI cord.
The other tv (they are both in the circus bedroom closet) can be brought into the blue bedroom and plugged in and put on the dresser to access your favorite shows upon logging in. Either tv can also be set up in the living room area.

- This is a duplex; your unit occupies the lower level with a private entrance, ensuring no shared indoor spaces. I live in the upper unit of the duplex and occasionally use the patio and outdoor gate entrance. Your space is located below mine, so please keep in mind that while I’m usually quiet, some noise is inevitable in a bustling city duplex.

- The patio and laundry facilities are shared.

- Two new, quiet Midia brand window AC units have been added in the bedrooms for your comfort.

- While children are welcome, please note that the space is not childproof. The patio may pose a safety risk if kids climb the railing, and there are adult-themed artworks and knick-knacks throughout. Children must be supervised at all times. Please message me first when booking with children.

-Unfortunately, I cannot allow cats to stay because I am severely allergic to them, and often spend time in the unit.

- There is free street parking available, typically requiring parallel parking. If you don’t find a spot directly outside the home, there’s ample street parking just half a block down near the school.

Nestled at the patio level of a charming duplex, this two-bedroom, 1 bath home sits atop a serene hill. Double doors open to a stunning patio with breathtaking sunset views to the west. On clear days, the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory grace the horizon, complemented by the San Gabriel Mountains to the north. Each season transforms the landscape, from snow-capped peaks in winter to vibrant summer sunsets that dance across the sky.

As you step inside, the owner's meticulous touch is evident. Remodeled with love, every detail—from intricate crown molding to exquisite surreal oil paintings—reflects her artistic vision. The space is a vibrant, maximalist haven, where colors and creativity converge, creating an almost magical atmosphere reminiscent of a whimsical fairy tale.

“The Emerald Forest”
The living room and kitchen, painted in lush shades of green with a blue kitchen, evoke a peaceful, joyous ambiance reminiscent of a magical forest. Double doors open to the gorgeous patio, allowing you to soak in the views from the living room couch. Victorian charm meets whimsical candyland, enhanced by the artist's painted antique furniture.

“Tiny Tiger Circus”
Inspired by a love for the circus, this room features the artist’s enchanting paintings, Freya and Feronia. The space captures an old-timey gypsy circus vibe, with a striped wall and warm, sponged oranges that dance across the room. Hand-painted knickknacks and a revitalized nightstand complete the playful atmosphere.

“Velvet Ocean”
Drawing from the artist’s Mediterranean roots, this room celebrates all things oceanic. Adorned with a mermaid and an Octopus Lady painting, it offers Arabian Nights vibes through ornate lanterns and antique furniture. The deep blue walls envelop you in calm, velvety comfort, creating a serene sleeping environment.

“The Golden Onyx”

Guests can make use of all the spaces shown in the listing pictures. The unit is private, and none of the areas INSIDE are shared with other guests or me.

Guests can also make use of the big patio that is shared with me right off of the living room of your unit, through the beautiful French doors.

I live in the upper unit of the duplex and occasionally use the patio and outdoor gate entrance. Your space is located below mine, so please keep in mind that while I’m usually quiet, some noise is inevitable in a bustling city duplex.

Neighborhood highlights

The house is situated in a quaint little pocket of a hilly neighborhood called City Terrace with amazing views of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Hollywood sign in the distance. Elysian Park and dodger stadium are in view as well, and you can catch their firework show from the patio when they have games! It's a safe neighborhood with a school and the fire and sheriff's headquarters nearby. Less than 10 min to DTLA and the hopping Arts District via the 10 freeway. Walking distance to Cal State. You will enjoy easy access to the Convention Center, Crypto arena, the Grammy Museum, L.A fashion district, tons of diverse restaurants, cafes, and everything else from my centrally located place. Other great pockets of Los Angeles are within 10-20 minutes including Silverlake, Echo Park, Highland Park, Atwater, Los Feliz, Glendale, and Pasadena. Venice and Santa Monica beaches vary in time, although not far (20 minutes no traffic) They can take triple the time in rush hour. If you time it right, you can enjoy any areas of Los Angeles. Welcome to the giant busy and diverse city of Los Angeles!
