Located just a block away from Puerto Rico's Museum of Contemporary Art, right in the heart of San Juan's Arts District, La Rosa 18 is great for the young traveler looking for a well equipped place to stay at an affordable price. With high speed fiber optic wifi for the work traveler and Condado Beach just a short walk away for the vacation traveler, you will find the spot conveniently located for anything you may need.

The space
El Trio is a spacious and very comfortable apartment offering everything a guest needs for a short or long term stay. The unit has been recently renovated and remodeled with the aim of making it a living space for travelers so you'll be sure to find it a nice getaway spot in Santurce. The apartment has three bedrooms, two with double size beds and one room with two twin beds. There are also two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. Living room and rooms have their own AC units and there is a smart TV in each room as well as Fiber Optic Wifi throughout the apartment.

Our location in Santurce is ideal for a more local and real Puerto Rican experience, you will see the beauty of our island in all its facets. We are a 10 min walk from Condado beach a 1 min walk to Walmart & Walgreens for supplies, and the area is full of restaurants & shops within walking distance! We are also just a 6 min car ride from Old San Juan and a 12 min ride to the airport. We do not recommend Santurce for high-end travelers who expect a luxurious area but it is perfect for the laid back young traveler looking to immerse themselves in the local culture while still being steps away from the more high end touristic areas like Condado or Old San Juan. Our quality/price is unbeatable!

- Early check in & late check out may be possible at an extra fee.
- The apt is centrally located so it does feel like a city apartment with some street noise. This apartment has stairs to enter so we don't recommend for elderly people.
- No power generator.

Where you’ll be

San Juan, Puerto Rico

With Walmart and Walgreens just across the street as well as some well known places such as Puttanesca Pizzeria, Tostado Coffee Shop, Johnny & June Vintage Shop and the Museum of Contemporary Art just one block away, you will be staying in a very centric area known to everyone in San Juan as La Parada 18 in Santurce. Just a few blocks away you have the highly sought after arts street of Calle Cera with many urban street art and chic dining restaurants. You are also an easy 10-15min walk to Condado Beach and the more upscale touristic area of Condado as well as an 8-10min walk to Miramar, another nice neighborhoody area in San Juan with more coffee shops and restaurants to visit. The neighborhood itself can be perceived by some as a bit rough so I always compare it to a Bushwick type neighborhood reckoning its roots as long-time residents and new residents cultivate a culture that’s unique to the revitalized neighborhood. With an influx of young residents who are drawn to Santurce lower cost of living, there’s been a shift toward a more art-focused culture.
