There are two charming ranch homes available to rent on Ellinger Ranch Estates, LLC. BOTH HOMES would be ideal for families wanting to stay close to each other. The homes are only about 90 yards apart!

Enjoy a tranquil and private experience at Ellinger Ranch Estates, LLC nestled in the Callahan Divide Mountain Range. Located about four miles west of beautiful Buffalo Gap, Texas and just a 20-minute drive from Abilene, Texas (30 minutes to downtown/North Abilene). This retreat offers the perfect getaway.

We are located just off Hwy 89—only a mile away from Abilene State Park!

Now, do not let the mailing address confuse you...even though Ellinger Ranch Estates is less than five minutes to Buffalo Gap, our location has a rural mail route serviced by another small town only about 10 minutes from the ranch, which is Tuscola, Texas.

Lake Abilene is just 2.5 miles away from the ranch. Here, you can enjoy activities such as boating, renting kayaks, fishing, and hiking around the lake.

Fishing Regulations at Abilene Lake:
--A Texas fishing license is not necessary if you fish from the banks at
Abilene Lake, as the lake is owned by Texas State Parks.
--Please note that there is a small fee, as the lake is managed by Abilene
State Park, which is located only 1 mile from the ranch.

The ranch offers plenty of space to park your boat if you’re interested in bringing your boat to fish at Abilene Lake.

On another note, if you’re planning to attend an event in Abilene, Texas, but prefer to stay outside the city, our ranch is the ideal getaway. We provide a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere and just a quick 20-minute drive from Abilene!

Lisa and her husband, Kendall, are the fourth generation owners of Ellinger Ranch and its homesteads, alongside their daughter, Mackenzie, who is the fifth generation to own the ranch. Lisa is a retired business educator and an alumnus of Jim Ned CISD, while Mackenzie is an ACU graduate and a licensed speech language pathologist. Both ladies spent their childhood on the family ranch and are excited to share their beloved home places with you!
