After a day of exploring Joshua Tree National Park or Pioneer Town, you’ll come home to bask in the beautiful sunsets around the fire pit, hammocks and cowboy pool, or soak under the stars in the hot tub.
The space
Kit and John have been visiting the Hi-Desert for over 10 years, and had the best day of their lives when they got married at Keys View in Joshua Tree National Park. Since, the area holds a special place in their hearts, and they’ve spent the last few years renovating El Dorado Oasis into the beautiful desert escape it is today. With special personal touches throughout the property, including a vintage 1962 Shasta camper trailer named Dolly, which was featured in the couple's Emmy-winning series EastSiders on Netflix, El Dorado Oasis welcomes guests for a truly unique desert experience.
The home features high-style touches like gorgeous tile from Concrete Collaborative and Villa Lagoon and fixtures from Signature Hardware.
The stylish kitchen combines modern convenience with rustic charm. It features brand-new modern GE Cafe appliances, as well as a vintage O'Keefe & Merritt gas stove that's original to house. It comes fully stocked with a variety of spices, cookware and utensils; everything you need to cook and grill.
Each of the bedrooms has extremely comfortable Tuft & Needle hybrid mattresses. The two primary bedrooms have French doors that open to the back patio.
The main bedroom has its own on-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms feature beautiful hand-crafted Moroccan tile, oversized rain shower heads, and Public Goods shower products.
The third bedroom is detached with its own private entrance and patio, outdoor show and quiet workspace perfect for working from home.
Cozying up next to the wood burning fireplace in the living room and putting on a movie or listening to the record player is the perfect respite after a long day of hiking.
The true highlight of this property is the extremely spacious backyard. With dozens of mature Joshua Trees and 5 private, fully fenced acres, you have your own piece of paradise to soak in the stunning sunrises and sunsets around the fire pit, in the cowboy tub pool or hot tub, or laying in one of the three hammocks.

The entire property is yours! Please note that there is an outdoor shed and some laundry area cabinets locked to guests that are being used for supplies. We also have a vintage Shasta trailer on the property locked per county regulations, and a vintage Ford truck.
Other things to note
Dogs:
El Dorado Oasis welcomes your dogs! Please note that there is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Cats and other pets are not allowed.
Cowboy Pool and Hot Tub Service:
The cowboy pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays, approximately between 10am and noon. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.
Cowboy Pool and Outdoor Bathtub Availability:
The hot tub is available all year, but the outdoor bathtub and cowboy pool are unavailable during winter months (December - February) to prevent the pipes and filter from freezing.
Fireplace:
If you'd like to enjoy our wood burning stove, we recommend picking up firewood at a local grocery store before arriving to the home as we do not provide it. The stove is small and does not need much to heat the room, so a duraflame without firewood is usually sufficient!
Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs:
Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house.
Trash & Recycling Service:
Trash days are Friday. The trash company will bring the cans out and back in.
Liability:
Use of the fire and water features is at your own risk and liability. Smoking and other open flames are prohibited.
Cleaning Fee:
100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.
