Our apartments are just six minutes’ walk to JR Otsuka Station, on Tokyo’s main JR Yamanote loop line, with direct access to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno and Tokyo. The property is in a quiet, safe location next to a leafy park with a play area, and guests can expect caring, attentive hosts.

We offer casual comfort in Otsuka, one of Tokyo’s hidden gems, with an easy walk to transport, shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The location is a short ride on the main JR Yamanote loop line to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Harajuku, and Ueno.
The property is just 500m (6 min.) walk to Otsuka JR train station and the local shopping district, in a quiet neighborhood next to leafy Sugamo Park, steps away from friendly neighborhood eateries and 24-hour convenience stores.
The JR Yamanote Line takes guests to Ikebukuro in 3 minutes, and to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ueno in 10–20 minutes.
All guests receive personalized, attentive service from hosts who are long-term residents of Tokyo, with communication before and during the stay and guidance on transportation, tourism, and local restaurants. We have been Airbnb Superhosts since 2015.

It may be right next to bustling Ikebukuro, but Otsuka has its own unique charm. What you’ll find in this unpretentious neighborhood is quiet backstreets, an atmosphere of 70's-era nostalgia, and an impressive supply of excellent izakayas, bars and eateries, some of which trace their histories back to pre-war times. Just take a walk along the shopping arcades at night and you’ll be sure to feel Otsuka’s old-time charm.
