Is the home suitable for children?
We have steep stairs (see photo) and a deck without a railing. While it's not very high, it is not super low either. This home is not a great option for children or adults who are not sure footed or mobile infants.
Can we go in the pond?
No, the pond water is not circulated. Swimming wading and boating are not allowed.
Can we fish in the pond?
YES! It is catch and release only. The pond is stocked with carp and bass.
Is the pond private?
No. It belongs to the community. You can walk the path around the pond. Don't be surprised to see people on a stroll or chilling on the bench in front of our home fishing.
Can we feed the ducks and geese?
YES! We provide a small amount of floating duck food. We ask that you not feed them bread as it is bad for their digestive system.
Are the birds loud?
The geese leave in the morning and return in the evening. They can be talkative at night, so we offer a sound machine for your use.
