This quiet country home is located just 15 minutes from downtown Bedford, VA and 30-40 minutes from Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA.

The space
This is a quiet country home off an unpaved road in the mountains of Bedford County Virginia. We are about 10 minutes from downtown Bedford and only 30-40 minutes from both Lynchburg, VA and Roanoke, VA while being just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our neighbor has many farm animals that tend to wander over and visit including pigs, goats, and farm dogs. All of the animals are friendly and will love to interact with you.

Our home is a 3 bedroom/2 bath home with a screened in back porch with an excellent mountain view situated in 7 private acres.

Outside on our covered front porch is a grill and a table with seating for 6.

We have a full kitchen with all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you will need.

In our laundry room we have a full sized washer and dryer for all of your laundry needs.

We welcome you to bring your pets, however please let us know ahead of time what pets you will be bringing.

Other things to note
This home is located on an unpaved road with an uphill driveway. Vehicles with a lowered suspension or very low ground clearance are not recommended. During adverse weather the road can get rather bumpy.

Neighborhood highlights

Very quiet, there is only one close neighbor. We are nestled in the mountains with a beautiful view of Thaxton mountain from our covered and screened in deck. Please be respectful of our neighbor and be mindful of some of their animals that may wonder onto our property.
