Yet, we’re just a 10-minute drive to downtown, the airport, UBCO, Orchard Park Mall, beaches, golf courses, and a fantastic selection of pubs, restaurants, and even local wineries. If skiing or snowboarding is on your agenda, both Big White and Silver Star are only about an hour away.
Getting Around


The suite offers easy, mobility‑friendly access, with a private, stair‑free entrance and a ramp directly to the door, plus parking right in front. The entire suite is on one level, making it a great option for guests using walkers or who prefer minimal walking. Please note it is not wheelchair accessible due to doorway widths.
The suite is completely self‑contained and private. We live on the upper level of the home, so you may occasionally hear normal household sounds (like morning coffee or the rare dropped item). We’re two quiet adults and are very mindful of keeping noise to a minimum so your stay remains peaceful.
While we’re centrally located, a vehicle is recommended, as restaurants and shopping are not within walking distance. Taxis and ride‑sharing services are also readily available.

Neighborhood highlights

Dilworth Mountain - close to everything!
A quiet residential neighborhood only minutes from downtown, shopping and the airport. Yet, we have farmland across from us with vineyards, market gardens even some chickens, cows and horses - a little bit of country in the city!
Something to consider when choosing our suite is that you will find having a car or using services like ride share is almost essential. While a great neighborhood for an evening stroll there are no restaurants or shopping within walking distance.
Easy access to Highway 97 (Harvey Ave) & Highway 33 (Rock Creek Hwy) if you are heading to the mountains.
