Come relax and unwind at Dewy Ridge, your home away from home. Nestled on the side of Fleetwood Mountain, this 4 bedroom 3 bath home has an abundance of character and charm. Enjoy the stunning view of a beautiful sunrise over the mountains while sipping a hot cup of coffee and rocking your cares away! After a day of exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina, come home and enjoy the beautiful sunset sitting around the fire pit with a nice glass of wine!

The space
Dewy Ridge is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin nestled on the side of Fleetwood Mountain in Fleetwood Falls. The living room boasts an impressive stone fireplace with gas logs and a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. The lower level game room has a large TV, foosball, many board/table games and a gas log fireplace to keep you warm. There are two 40 foot decks for everyone to enjoy the views with the upper deck having a gas firepit sitting area!

Sleeping 6-8 adults comfortably and 2-4 children, the home offers rustic but modern comfort with WIFI, large screen TVs (Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTubeTV, Frndly, Hulu), heating and air conditioning and a fully stocked kitchen. Luxurious bed linens, towels, extra pillows/blankets and a washer and dryer are included to make your stay comfortable.

Dewy Ridge is perfect for a memorable family vacation, a girl's weekend away, a small group retreat or a romantic weekend.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire house. There is also a small private lake in Fleetwood Falls that guests will have access to for catch and release fishing, kayaking, tube floating and swimming. (equipment not provided)

Other things to note
This house is located in the mountains of NC. A 4-wheel drive or AWD vehicle is recommended during winter months for any adverse weather conditions. You will experience steeper hills and curves to access the property. Our neighborhood roads are very well maintained and taken care of during adverse weather conditions. I am also very accommodating for early check ins and late checkouts if needed due to weather if needed.

Fleetwood Falls is a quiet neighborhood nestled on Fleetwood Mountain along the South Fork New River. The quaint town of West Jefferson is a 15 minute drive, Boone is a 20 minute drive and you can be on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 10 minutes. Access the river for fishing, tubing, kayaking or canoeing right at the entrance to Fleetwood Falls or enjoy the private lake in the neighborhood which offers catch and release fishing, a gazebo for relaxing and a small beach for summer fun and swimming. You'll find plenty of places to hike and explore with Elk Knob State Park, Mount Jefferson State Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway just a short drive from the property. Of if exploring quaint mountain towns is your thing, historic downtown West Jefferson, Boone and Blowing Rock are just those places to be!
