We are a 28–30-day rental unit and are steps away from Duval Street, and with our location in
Old Town Key West, it is packed with iconic landmarks and attractions!

GENERAL ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
When you drive into Key West coming down Route 1, cross the bridge and take a right onto N. Roosevelt. Follow N. Roosevelt a few miles to DUVAL ST. Cross over Duval St. and go a few more blocks to Thomas Street. Go Right on Thomas St. Several more blocks on your left is a large sign “Shipyard Condominiums”. Turn left up to the high Black wrought iron gate with the entry code box.
ENTERING TRUMAN ANNEX – UNIT 151
As you enter the gate, the first condo on your LEFT is SHIPYARD 151. Bottom Floor.
Parking: Drive forward about 100 ft. Take first left isle. Then about 50 ft. on the right look for the cement parking block that says both; (151) and (157).
The 1st number is your Condo unit number, 151. The 2nd number is the PARKING SPACE #. Yes, they are different. Yes, it is weird! Yes, this is Key West !!!
If you need to unload big items, you can stop in front of the condo. STAY WITH YOUR CAR. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNATTENDED. THEY CAN AND WILL TOW. We are right in the exit lane!
GETTING INTO SHIPYARD UNIT 151.
Standing in front of the unit, there is an OUTER UNLOCKED entrance door. Go thru it. Directly inside is our condo unit #151. USE THE KEYPAD on the door lock.
Enter the code and push the lock symbol. The bolt will open. When you leave, tap the lock symbol and the deadbolt will close. Also lock the sliding back door during your stay.
Upon your first arrival the entrance door and backyard sliding door may be unlocked to allow you instant access. I have never had a theft in my 25 years , but you should lock the doors during your stay. On the kitchen counter you will find the key to the pool.
GATED COMMUNITY RULES – NOISE, DRINKING. BICYCLE PARKING
The Shipyard a quiet gated community just a couple blocks from bustling Duvall Street. Please keep the noise level down once you enter the complex. Neighbors will call, security will come, and they can ask people to leave if there are disturbances or open rowdy drinking. If you are asked to leave, there are no refunds, and I do not control community security decisions. I’ve never had a problem, but I ask my guests to be super conscientious of our neighbors.
If you bring or rent a BICYCLE, park it on the BACK PORCH. We may not leave them on the front porch. A few full time owners are allowed, but that is not us. THANK YOU. 😊
SMOKING: Please don’t. That includes the good seven leaf stuff. All properties are smoke free. Failure to comply will result in a $250.00 charge to your account.
VEHICLE PARKING:
1. You will get a parking permit in your welcome letter
2. If you have a rental car, fill out the vehicle info once you get your car.
3. NOTE SIZE RESTRICTIONS. Vehicles longer than 18’, which include trucks like F350, etc. are too big and will be towed without notice. There is street parking just outside our gated complex where such vehicles can park.
POOL INSTRUCTIONS
The Shipyard Condo pool has a gate with key access, though if you forget your key, just ask someone to let you in. The key is on your key ring and may have SYPH stamped on it. Pool hours are 8 am till dusk. Please respect noise limits.
Other things to note
2 blocks walking to Duval St. Most excursions, sailing, scuba diving, bike, scooter and car rentals will pick you up at the Condo, so getting around or to venues is easy. Ample parking inside a gated community lot.
