The space
THE ROOM
A striking patchwork art wall and warm wood accents set the tone for the room. The room includes art books on UKIYO-E IN PLAY, Hiroshi Yoshida, and Utagawa Hiroshige. After sightseeing, please feel free to turn the pages and quietly enjoy Japan's landscapes and sense of beauty.
Two double beds side by side, so a family of four or two couples can each have their own bed. Fast Wi-Fi (756 Mbps measured), a smart TV, and air conditioning. Under-bed storage (169 x 125 cm, 26 cm deep) holds up to four medium-size suitcases, as long as each case is 26 cm thick or less. See the photo for exact dimensions.
LAUNDRY
A drum-type washer-dryer in the room means you can pack light and do laundry anytime, a lifesaver on family trips. There is also a free dryer in the building. An iron and vacuum are available.
KITCHEN & DAILY LIFE
The kitchenette comes with a microwave, electric kettle, basic cookware and tableware. A quiet compact fridge (adjustable from -5C to 20C, not a full freezer) keeps drinks and snacks cold. To keep everything fresh for each guest we don't stock cooking oil or seasonings. A supermarket is 2 minutes away, a drugstore 1 minute, and a convenience store 4 minutes.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Quiet residential streets with real local life: small eateries, morning walks along the Oyokogawa riverside park, and Koganeyu, a famous designer sento (public bath and sauna) about a 6-min walk away (admission fee applies). You get Tokyo convenience without staying in the middle of a tourist crowd.
