Only 70 meters from uncrowded Turtle Beach, plus Roatan's top dive shop & several bars less than a 5-min walk on the beach. Snorkel & swim steps from shore. Comfortable unit with a view of nature. WiFi, cable TV, AC, shared pool, free Roatan Disc Golf.

The space
700sf space with an open plan living area & full kitchen. A 160sf screened-in porch goes out to a sun deck, and overlooks a quaint path leading to the beach. King beds in BRs, daybed in LR.

Passports
Prior to travel, please make sure your passports are valid at least 6 months prior to the expiration date. There have been incidents on the island where people have been detained at immigration, & even not allowed to board their flight at their home airport, due to this important detail.

Canadian and Other ForeignTravelers
Bring US Dollars, as banks here don't change anything other than USD to Lempiras, the local currency (sorry!). Many businesses accept credit cards, and all businesses accept USD in addition to Lempiras.

Where you’ll be

West Bay, Honduras

Our location & accessibility - by boat, car, or on foot - is what makes our neighborhood unique. The beach isn't crowded, even in peak season. Snorkel within 5 minutes of walking out the door, and find the resident octopus and moray eel! Relax with a view of the treetops, where it's always buzzing with hummingbirds, lizards, & an occasional iguana. A flock of macaws flies overhead every morning & evening. Take a morning stroll on the path down to the beach w/ coffee in hand & watch the dive boats and water taxis go by. You'll be close enough to nightlife to enjoy it, but far enough to be able to sleep at night. Our neighbors are all full-time residents, and it's one of the safest neighborhoods on the island!
