The Cozy Rose Caboose is THE perfect way to enjoy everything Asheville has to offer while returning every night to your private, nature retreat to enjoy the twinkling stars as you soak in the hot tub with your favorite beverage! Let the kids run free and enjoy the plethora of yard games while you put some steaks on the grill!
The Cozy Rose Caboose is located on a private road and has a fully-fenced yard so you can enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, and yard games with a feeling of spaciousness and privacy. The Cozy Rose has a super-comfortable queen bed as well as a full bed via the pull-out sofa.
Located in Candler, The Cozy Rose Caboose is only 7 miles from hip West Asheville, 10 miles from Downtown Asheville, 3.5 miles from Wicked Weed Brewery, and close to plenty of dining and shopping. Whether you’re looking for hiking, biking, river activities, art crawls, fine dining, live music, or just a private retreat, The Cozy Rose Caboose is the perfect stay!
The caboose is also located within driving distance to many regional attractions. For all of you train enthusiasts, you can take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City, which is a scenic 1 hour drive through the Smoky Mountains!
While in the area, check out Harrah's Cherokee Casino and the charming towns of Cherokee and Maggie Valley!
Our caboose is fully-stocked with everything you need to feel right at home, from cooking supplies to Netflix to board games and books! And don’t forget about the plethora of yard activities, including cornhole, croquet, a fire pit, and a luxurious four-person hot tub with twinkle lights surrounding it!
The Cozy Rose Caboose is equipped with high speed wifi, making it a great digital-nomad getaway. Soak up nature while logging a few hours of work from the backyard!
We want every guest to feel right at home, which is why we’ve included thoughtful amenities such as extra pillows and blankets, Bluetooth speaker, hot tub towels, cooking essentials, customizable mood lighting, and more! There are endless activities nearby, but you’ll find it hard to leave The Cozy Rose Caboose!
Nearby attractions include: Blue Ridge Parkway, Smokey Mountain National Park, Cataloochee Ski Area (only 28 miles from the caboose!), Biltmore Estate, French Broad River, Sliding Rock Natural Water Slide, River Arts District, Dupont State Forest, Navitat Canopy Adventures, Chimney Rock State Park, many MANY breweries, restaurants, and so much more!

During your stay you’ll have exclusive access to the property and will be able to enjoy an easy self check-in in via a Smart Lock entry. You will be sent the numeric code along with your check-in instructions the day before your stay. There is easy off-street parking on the front of the property, and you’ll enter The Cozy Rose Caboose by entering the gate to the backyard and walking to the main entry door around back. The best place to park is near the right side of the caboose. You’ll enter through the small gate near the “To Trains” sign. Follow the short stone walkway and enter through the door on the back deck.
Other things to note
The Cozy Rose Caboose is located on a private road with two neighbors, so please be mindful of
the 10MPH speed limit and noise levels during quiet hours (10pm-8am).
For your littles, we do supply a Pack n Play portable crib. Please be advised that you will need to supply your own sheets for the crib, as we do not supply them.
