This place has been quoted by many past tenants as “Cozy”

The space
Many describe this space as feeling “safe” even when traveling alone! This is a new camper, set up to give you a comfortable place to stay during your trip to Maine! One private room with doors that shut. The other beds are in the open floor plan. One is the couch that folds out and the other is a bottom level bunk. The top bunk is only used for storage.

The community itself is safe and welcoming, known for its friendly neighbors and townspeople. A place where you can strike up a conversation at the local stores!!Nearby, you'll find lovely parks, walking trails, and quaint shops, making it an ideal spot for you if you’re looking to explore the beauty of Maine while enjoying a homey atmosphere!

The camper sits within 4 acres of my parent’s property. A large amount of the Route 1 strip is also my family. So that typically gives our tenants a feeling of extra comfort and security.

Guest access
There is a fenced in yard, with plenty of space for hanging out. You have a private space all to yourself!

Other things to note
My brother lives next door, kind of tucked up in behind our camper and our parents out in the front, towards Route 1. You do have plenty of privacy though!
He does have 2 very friendly dogs, Elliot (an elder black lab) and Stevie (white fluffy samoyed) that you may see on rare occasions but for the most part, he’s not home much and the dogs are always inside his home.

We do live on a short dirt, not paved, driveway which is typical of Maine!! Drive safely as there are a couple of small bumps.

Neighborhood highlights

Steuben is a small town! Super friendly community. Our neighbors on both sides are all family and even down the street in both directions. So we’re a super safe neighborhood. Therefore upon your arrival, the key will be on the counter. Feel free to lock when you’re away. But when you depart you may leave the camper unlocked and the key on counter.
Steuben has no street lights and one convenient store, very close to us. Steuben Country Store has gas, beer cave, liquor, grocery staples. a small kitchen for ordering to go food, and a bunch of random things.
The next town over, Milbridge has a Hannaford Grocery Store, Bayside Market. Milbridge also has a great breakfast place, The Milbridge House. Meadows Take Out here in Steuben is an amazing place for food as well. Attached to the Meadows is a small bar with a small town feel.
