Come and explore Hastings the heart of Hawkes bay and all it has to offer while enjoying the comforts of home.
Only 3 minutes to the centre of town by car and the ToiToi event centre .10 minutes to some of the best wineries Hawkes bay has to offer. Napier, a 25 min drive and some of the best sandy beaches you could wish for a 35-minute drive away.
The cottage is fully self-contained and ideal for a break away.

The space
Our cozy Cottage is the perfect relaxing spot for you when in Hastings. There are two bedrooms ,one has an on suite with large claw foot bath . The other bathroom has the shower and has easy to access to the second bedroom . The kitchen is fully functional and also has a dishwasher and a washer dryer combo machine.
Plenty of books to read and Chromecast has been installed for your viewing pleasure.
There is plenty of outside space with tables and chairs.
We also have a porter cot available for use and highchair( please advise me if you require these).

Guest access
You have your own driveway to park in. There is a sunny deck with table and chairs for those long, warm summer evenings.
There is fruit, and nut trees you can help yourself to.

Other things to note
Should you require an earlier check-in or late check out, please let me know so we can work something out.
There are security cameras installed at the front door of the cottage and one facing the driveway .They are switched off once you have checked in and only reactivated after checkout.

The Cottage is in a quiet residential street on the green belt of Hastings.
You can sit in the peaceful garden and listen to the Tui sing.
At the end of the street is a school field, sports ground, and a small playground for the kids .
It's just a 5 minute drive to popular splash planet .The ever popular HavelockNorth village a mere 10 minutes drive.

Duane and i have four daughters.We love doing a bit of DIY, mucking around in the garden and classic cars . We did a lot of traveling in our younger days and hope to be doing more again in the future. We always liked the idea of mingling with the locals and other travelers but liked to be able to escape to the peace and quiet of your own little home away from home.
