Nestled in the heart of Montgomery Center, this historic Vermont cottage offers the perfect home base for exploring the Northeast Kingdom and Northern Vermont. Originally built in 1880 and lovingly maintained, this standalone cottage blends historic Vermont charm with modern comforts. Guests have access to the entire home across two floors and can enjoy the convenience of keyless entry for a seamless check-in experience.

Guests will have full, private access to the entire cottage and its surrounding property. Enjoy the ease of self check-in with our smart lock system. Please note, the basement and the closet in the kid's room is locked as it stores essential equipment. For your safety and security, exterior security cameras are present on the property.

• This is our family cottage, not a luxury hotel. We hope you'll unplug, relax, and enjoy both the home and the beautiful Vermont outdoors.

• The cottage is best suited for families and guests seeking a peaceful getaway. Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests, and quiet enjoyment of our neighborhood is appreciated.

• Northern Vermont weather can be unpredictable. During winter and mud season, AWD or 4WD is recommended. Snow removal is provided as needed.

• Cell service can be limited in the area. WiFi is provided, and we recommend enabling WiFi Calling before arrival.

• The barn is a rustic, historic structure and is not climate controlled.

• The second floor of the barn is closed to guests.

• As with most historic barns, you may encounter dust, insects, or wildlife despite our ongoing efforts to minimize them.

• We do not offer refunds or reservation changes due to weather. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your trip from unexpected events.
