Enjoy slow mornings on the enclosed porch with rocking chairs, cozy nights by the firepit, and relaxing soaks in the private hot tub. Plush robes add a touch of luxury. Whether you’re seeking adventure or serenity, this cozy retreat blends comfort with nature.
The space
Just because you are getting away from the hectic pace of modern life doesn’t mean that you have to give up its luxuries. This two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Each bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed and high-quality linens for your comfort. The bathroom boasts dual showerheads for ultimate relaxation and bathrobes for added luxury.
You’ll love lingering over meals with loved ones in such a relaxing setting. Our kitchen comes fully stocked for all of your cooking needs:
• Refrigerator
• Stove and oven
• Coffeemaker
• Wine glasses
• Plates, bowls, cups, and silverware
• Sharp-set of knives
• Cooking utensils
• Baking essentials
• Pots and pans
Enjoy your meals around the dining room table or outdoors! The cottage comes with games for fun after dinner.
Feel free to use the hot tub on the back patio. We provide extra towels for your convenience.
Spill something on your favorite shirt, or run out of clothes? We have a washer and dryer at the cottage, plus an iron and ironing board.

While you’re staying here, this home is your private oasis. Guests will have full access and use of the cottage 24 hours a day.

Please be aware that our home is located in a rural area, where insects like mosquitoes and flies are common. We regularly spray both our home and the surrounding land to help control them, but you may still encounter some during your stay. To further minimize their presence, we recommend bringing bug spray with you.
Access to boat and kayak ramp across the street at Pates' Boatyard included with stay. It is a rural island located on the Pamlico Sound. Watch a beautiful sunrise on Jones Bay or sunset on the Intracoastal which never disappoints.
Enjoy a day trip to Morehead City/Atlantic Beach which is approximately 1.5 hours from the house. Or less than hour to beautiful New Bern, NC offering local shopping, delicious restaurants, and historical sites such as the "Birthplace of Pepsi-Cola."
