The space
Peaceful and private, this fifth-floor condo with breathtaking views is located in Copala, a "resort within a resort" in a master-planned community often referred to as the Beverly Hills of Los Cabos, surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. Elegant and modern, the tasteful decor and comfortable surroundings will provide a luxurious place to rest after a day of fun in the sun. In season, you'll love watching the whales breach from your own private terrace!
Copala has six pools, a family park, shaded lounge areas, a clubhouse with lounging areas and a theater room, and an on-site concierge. Once a guest has registered with the on-site concierge, they will enjoy discounts on golfing (on a state-of-the-art Jack Nicklaus course, ranked in the top 100 in the world!) and dining at the Pueblo Bonito Resorts.
Guests will have access to the Copala community pools, the community gym at Copala, the famous Quivira golf course, fine dining, and hiking trails.

Other things to note
Start your vacation the right way...follow these steps to make the most of your stay!!
1. CONCIERGE : We highly recommend stopping in to see the Copala Concierge as soon as possible after dropping your luggage off at the condo. This will make the rest of your stay much, much smoother with less likelihood of experiencing inconveniences.
-----IF YOU WILL HAVE A RENTAL CAR, YOU MUST SEE THE CONCIERGE FOR A PARKING PASS----- They will need the license plate number, the make/model of the vehicle, and a $5 USD refundable deposit that will be returned when you turn in the parking pass at the end of your stay. Guests may park in any UNCOVERED parking space.
2. SHUTTLES : Shuttles are available for a nominal fee - GUESTS WILL BE CHARGED THROUGH AIRBNB FOR ANY FEES CHARGED TO THE OWNER DUE TO SHUTTLE USE. You must book the shuttle through the concierge (email or call). The shuttle passes through Copala on the half-hour and you must have a reservation due to limited space on shuttles. It will take you to Pueblo Bonito Sunset.
---SHUTTLES STOP RUNNING AT 10 PM. AFTER 10 PM, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE A TAXI OR UBER BACK TO COPALA. Please keep this in mind to avoid inconvenience.
-For fine dining options, you'll need to get off at the lobby stop of Pueblo Bonito Sunset.
-The second stop is the Market - almost like a food court with offerings of Asian, Mexican, Sushi, 50’s diner, crepe station & desserts. The second stop is also where "THE AFTER" is, which is a bar (nightclub in the evenings" where there are plenty of TVs that show games like the Superbowl, World Series, etc.
***Once your "FOLIO" has been opened with the Copala Concierge, state your condo name/number and get 20% off all food at resort restaurants!
3. GETTING AROUND THE RESORT : Hire a golf cart through the concierge - charged by the day. Pick up at the gate. Ask us how to reserve!
4. BIKING : E-bikes and mountain bikes can be booked through the concierge - 8am - 2 pm (there are trails all around Quivira community)
5. COPALA CLUBHOUSE : features a pool (with shallow areas for the kids!), gym, small theatre, loungers, and a lovely lunch bar - serves burgers, hotdogs, quesadillas, burritos, fish tacos, and poolside drink service
6. BEACH : Copala is located on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. The Pacific is absolutely beautiful to walk along and observe, but is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to get close to the water due to strong currents and rogue waves - it is NOT SWIMMABLE. The swimmable beaches in Cabo are located on the Sea of Cortez side of the peninsula - we are happy to offer information about great beaches for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities!
7. DOWNTOWN CABO SAN LUCAS/MARINA AREA : Copala is located about a 15-minute drive from the downtown and marina area where you'll find great restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shopping options.
8. TVs/STREAMING : Our TVs are smart TVs with streaming services. Guests must sign into their own account to access streaming. *Please note, some streaming services may not be available in Mexico without a VPN. The easiest streaming to access is Netflix - please let us know if you have any issues, we're happy to help.
9. AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION : There are several options for airport transfers - please let us know if you need help getting this set up.
10. PRE-ARRIVAL GROCERY SHOPPING : There are several great companies that do pre-arrival shopping. We have used Prickly Pear and loved them - highly recommended!
11. TOWELS : ONLY BEACH TOWELS can be brought down to the Copala pools. PLEASE do not bring white bath towels to the pools.
Drone use is prohibited by HOA Regulations. Guests in violation of this policy may be subject to a fine issued by the HOA.
COPALA HAS VERY STRICT QUIET HOURS. FINES FOR VIOLATION OF HOA QUIET HOURS CAN BE $250 USD OR MORE. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINES INCURRED DUE TO NONCOMPLIANCE WITH HOA RULES AND WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY.
AT NO TIME MAY MORE THAN SIX GUESTS BE INSIDE THE PROPERTY.
