The space
Well-equipped, spacious condo. Includes private balcony, full kitchen (great for saving eating-out money!), full dining area, living room w/ comfy sleeper couch for 2, TV & internet, bedroom w/ 2 queen-sized beds, 2 full bathrooms (1 w/ jet tub), fireplace, indoor water park, outdoor pools (including a mountain-top, heated infinity pool), free on-site parking, and many other amenities in this luxury gated resort. And LOTS of family activities in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville area, in addition to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a large number of outdoor options to explore.
Guest access
Check in at the resort reception desk for room access cards, WiFi info, and complimentary waterpark admission arm bands. You will need to give us your full name and address as on your driver’s license since the resort checks the reservation against your license, not against the Airbnb reservation. We also need your phone number and email so that the reservation details can be sent directly to you. Once booked & confirmed, we will send you the name and phone number of our personal concierge who will be your host in our place and who will take good care of you.
Other things to note
Only for full week (Check-in Sunday; check-out next Saturday or Sunday). Must book at least 70 days in advance. In extreme cases resort staff may place your party in a different room than the one you booked. If that room is, effectively, a downgrade, we will send you a partial refund via Airbnb.
The condo is part of a gated resort. There is no resort fee as you are guests of the condo owners (that's us). There is no separate room cleaning fee either. All pool, gym, and outdoor amenities are free-of-charge (including, during the warm season, mini-golf). There are, as well, 2 on-site restaurants, a grocery store, and a spa (extra charge). There is a free trolley service to Gatlinburg and surrounding areas which will save you time and money for parking. For details, check with the resort staff and/or the Gatlinburg tourism website.
Check-in: During peak-vacation times - holidays and summer (June/July) - be aware that the resort may struggle to have your room ready at 4pm. Better plan on 5pm, just in case :-) Also, your room may be on the 3rd floor of a building. In that case, you'll need to carry your luggage up a couple flight of stairs.
Pet policy: Dogs only; max. of 2 dogs w/ combined weight not exceeding 60 pounds. (Height and length restrictions also apply—they can be no longer than 36 inches and no taller than 36 inches each.) $150 cleaning fee per reservation, payable upon check-in (plus refundable $150 deposit if the room is free of damage). Breed restrictions: no Pit Bulls, Rotweilers, Bulldogs, Huskies, or Shepherds.
