The space
The accommodation has three levels, it has 7 rooms three on the ground floor 3 on the upper floor and one in the central area, All rooms have a gas heater for winter nights.
It has 5 full bathrooms with hot water and all the necessary toiletries such as towels (12), shampoo and soaps.
We have a kitchen equipped with everything you need and dining areas for 16 people. There are also tables and chairs on the terraces for outdoor dining.
The living room has a wood-burning fireplace ideal for enjoying an evening reading, painting or playing cards and board games with family or friends.
In the terrace area, each terrace has a barbecue or grill to make grilled meat or an excellent discada.
It is advisable to bring coolers and plenty of ice. Even though we have a refrigerator, there is not enough space to keep soft drinks, BEERS, etc. cold.
Guest access
Access has lockable doors for privacy of the entire area.
You will be greeted by staff or open a lockbox with a code that will be provided before your arrival.
We have two closets that will be closed and inaccessible to guests
Other things to note
At Casa de Campo Colina del Colibrí we use solar energy, so electricity is only for lighting and charging cellular equipment or speakers.
Important!! - The use of hair dryers or straighteners is completely prohibited (Anything that uses heat resistance). This is because connecting high-amp appliances will overload the solar electricity system. Not only can this cause irreparable damage, but the cabin will run out of power for the rest of the stay.
Shopping
In the national park area, there are two stores, one 100 meters away and the other 2.5 kilometers away. However, it is advisable to bring everything you need in food for your stay.
The water is from a well, pumped by solar energy to a storage tank, so there will be no shortage even if the house is at full capacity (26 guests). But please take care of it anyway :) :)
Please don't throw garbage outside. We kindly ask you to take your trash with you at the end of your stay. You can deposit it in the containers located in the "park, in front of the store" or at the Majalca exit or down the hill.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE. Breaking this rule will result in a $300 USD fine that will be deducted from the deposit left at the time of booking.
A thorough cleaning is carried out before and after each guest's stay, as well as disinfection and sanitization of all rooms and common areas. This is to protect you and your family or companions and to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible.
Firewood is available for the fireplace and fire pit area at no cost in winter, and at an additional cost in summer.
Remember that you are in the Sierra de Chihuahua where different types of animals live, such as spiders, snakes, etc. Be careful and always respect wildlife.
Finally, we ask you to take care of the cabin just as we do to keep it in perfect condition so that both you and we can continue to enjoy it.
