This cozy getaway blends into Lookout Mountain and emphasizes the beauty of the land inside and out. Every room draws natural light and calm. Convenient drive to all of Chattanooga's natural wonders, a short distance from charming Lookout Mountain town life and St. Elmo neighborhood. Our good friend Sarah and her pup Timber live in a separate apartment downstairs, and tend the garden during the season.
The space
The cozy primary bedroom holds a king bed and golden sunset views over the bluff. The porch-side room soaks up the morning sun and has a twin bunk bed along with a queen bed. The kitchen is functional and bright with plenty of cabinets and gadgets for even the most adventurous meals. The great-room is the airy hub of the cottage, perfect for curling up to read or a healthy dose of Netflix and chill. Out on the back deck you’ll find a four person hot tub, charcoal grill and an incredible bluff view.
Guest access
Guest parking is located at the top of the driveway, labeled Cloudland Cottage guest parking and has a path that leads directly to the front door. No keys! You'll be getting in with a door code.
You have free reign of the upstairs, deck and hot tub area, and you’ll find the washer and dryer downstairs in the garage.
Other things to note
-Our home has a downstairs apartment with separate reserved parking (spots in front of the garage) and a private entrance into that space. Sarah and her well-trained pup Timber live there, feel free to wave hello!
-The blue tiny house in the back yard is a separate Airbnb rental, you might see our guests walking to and from their teeny abode up to their gravel parking pad, send a neighborly smile their way :)

Hello! As a mommy to two beautiful girls, my days are filled with a lot of laughter, games, reading children's books, playing dress up, and being kept on my toes. Add to the mix two dogs and a husband and there's never a dull moment! I love the city we live in and all of the varying kid-friendly activities, restaurants, outdoor adventures, and beautiful scenery from the mountains to the rivers that it has to offer. Family time is the best time in our books. Our intention is finding ways to make that happen as often as possible, and getting to see new places from time to time is just part of the fun. As a co-host, I am passionate about ensuring our guests have the best time possible on their getaway experience!
