Chill Country Ranch features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed in both downstairs bedrooms, a queen in one upstairs bedroom, 2 twins and a twin trundle in the other upstairs bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the loft.
The space
Welcome to Chill Country Ranch! This home is located in a new community that is still under construction. Come inside our cabin and find an open concept floorplan with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and coffee bar area. The dining room table seats 6 and we have 4 additional seats at the raised kitchen breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped to make a meal if you feel like cooking. The coffee bar has individual creamers, sugar packets, K-cups, individually wrapped tea, honey sticks, as well as a tea kettle and a Keurig Duo that will make individual K-cups or a whole pot of coffee. Please note, pets and parties are not allowed.
The living room has a big sectional couch and two additional leather chairs. There is a smart TV available for you to log in and watch your favorite shows or movies (no cable). There is also a record player, with a selection of records, and plenty of games in the TV console.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, private ensuite with a walk-in glass shower, closet, luggage rack, and a smart Roku TV. The additional downstairs bedroom has a king bed, closet, luggage rack, and is next to the full downstairs bath with tub/shower combo.
There is a full size washer and dryer in the cabin for your convenience.
Head upstairs and find a loft complete with ping pong table, bean bag chairs, and an additional smart TV. There are also kid friendly board games and card games as well as a retro Mini G box with thousands of old school video games including Super Mario Brothers, Sonic, and Double Dragon. The couch in the loft folds out into a queen size sleeper.
There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen size bed and one with two twins with a twin trundle. Each room in the cabin has a closet and a luggage rack. There is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo.
Head outside and find a patio with 8 adirondack chairs, a garden, corn hole, and a fire pit ready for s'mores!
The community is still under construction. Cabins are being completed a few at a time. You will see partially completed cabins and partially completed community areas during your stay. You may also see construction workers onsite during your stay. Avoid entering areas in the community that are under construction.
Please note, pets and parties are not allowed. All roads and parking areas within the development are gravel. Parking is located directly next to / behind the unit in the gravel (parking is not covered). You will walk in the gravel & grass to access the cabin.
Guest access
The cabin is located in the "upper circle" area. Please avoid the other active construction areas near the front of the community. If you stay during a weekday you might see construction workers.
You will have a private door code for the smart lock to access the home.
All of the walkways, parking, and roads within the community are gravel. You will walk in the gravel to the front patio to enter the home. Walkways and patios are not covered.
Other things to note
We do not allow pets. We do not allow parties.
We have a firepit onsite for your enjoyment. Please check the Comal County Fire Marshal website for burn ban status. If we are in a burn ban, use of our outdoor firepit is not allowed. Please note firewood is not provided but is readily available at nearby gas stations and grocery stores.
The cabin is in Texas Hill Country, known for being hot and humid. You may encounter wildlife in the community which includes insects. Depending on the time of year and weather, guests may encounter mosquitoes, bees, flies, moths, wasps, lovebugs, ants, spiders, beetles, scorpions, etc. While we do perform regular preventative pest control, we are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for the occasional insect that may make it inside. Guests can help by keeping doors closed, disposing of trash properly, and storing food responsibly.
