Nestled on a private 4-hectare estate in Mandeville, our chalet blends the authenticity of a forest cabin with modern comfort. 💻 Remote Work & Connectivity: Ultra-fast Wi-Fi connection (certified 496 Mbps), ideal for seamless video conferencing and 4K streaming (Netflix, Disney+ on a 51" TV).
🐾 Inclusive Stays (Pets & Families): Your dogs are welcome (bowls provided). For young families, a complete set of equipment is available upon request (travel crib, high chair). Child-friendly tableware and games are also available on-site.
🌲 Immersion & Eco-responsibility: Completely secluded with no direct neighbors. With a deep respect for our environment, the chalet is supplied by our own artesian well offering pure water, inviting our guests to practice mindful and responsible water management during their rural immersion.
🚗 Mountain Accessibility: A genuine high-altitude experience guaranteeing breathtaking views (AWD - All-Wheel Drive vehicle mandatory in winter/spring).

Prepare your meals just like at home: drip coffee maker and Keurig, fondue and raclette sets, and everything you need to cook. An outdoor BBQ awaits you for summer grilling with mountain views.
🛏️ Comfortable Bedrooms & Rest Areas
Two closed bedrooms with Queen-size beds and premium bedding.
An open loft (Queen bed) featuring a hanging hammock—a true cozy cocoon for reading or taking a nap.
🚿 Comfort & Amenities
Large modern shower, fluffy towels, and complimentary toiletries included. A portable air conditioning unit is installed upstairs during summer, though the natural mountain breeze flowing through the mature trees is usually enough to cool the nights.
🌳 The Outdoor Experience
Take advantage of the spacious deck for your outdoor dining. In the evening, gather around the fire pit area (kindling provided, additional firewood available to order) to stargaze.
🌲 Nearby Exploration (Points of Interest)
Ideally located just under 15 minutes from village amenities, while still ensuring total seclusion. Explore the hiking trails, the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve, and the Chutes du Calvaire Regional Park, all located just a few minutes' drive away.

Check-in is 100% autonomous via a secure smart lock. A comprehensive digital guidebook will be sent to you before your stay, and I remain highly responsive to ensure your experience is perfect from booking to departure.

🚸 Babies & Children:
We’re happy to welcome families with babies and children! However, please note that the chalet is not fully babyproofed, there are no stair gates or outlet covers, for example.

We provide baby-specific equipment such as a high chair, convertible crib/playpen with sheets, toys, and books.
🪵 Firewood:
A small starter amount of firewood is provided (see photo in the listing). This includes kindling and fire starters for easy lighting.
You can purchase two additional bundles (kindling and fire starters included) — ideal for a weekend stay.
If you’d like more, please order at least one week before arrival so we can prepare it near the chalet. This is highly recommended for stays longer than 3 nights.
You may also purchase firewood in Mandeville or St-Gabriel, but you’ll get less for a higher price — and don’t forget to buy kindling and fire starters too, which adds cost and time.

🐶 Pets
Up to 2 pets allowed. The first one is free. Extra 100$ for the second one.
Waste bags are provided in case you forget yours.
Pets are not allowed on the mezzanine to prevent them from accessing beds and are not permitted on the ground floor sofa.
Please bring their own bed, as we do not provide one.
Two food/water bowls are available.
Any violation of indoor/outdoor pet rules may result in extra charges in addition to the pet fee (see House Rules).
🤧 Allergies:
If you’re allergic to pets, note that animals may occasionally stay in the chalet. You book with this awareness. That said, we do our best to thoroughly clean and reduce allergens between stays.
❄️ Air Conditioning:
A portable A/C unit is available upstairs from June to September in case of a heatwave. Otherwise, the classic nature-approved method works wonders 👇
The chalet is nestled in peaceful mature forest, offering naturally cooler nights. We recommend opening the windows (with screens in place) to create a mountain breeze that will refresh the chalet overnight.
🧑🧑🧒🧒 Extra Guests:
No additional guests are allowed. The base price covers up to six people. Camping is not permitted.
🪣 🧹 Cleaning:
The space must be left as clean as it was upon arrival. We’ll handle laundry, but extra cleaning fees may apply if the chalet is left in poor condition.
