The space
The chalet has a pleasant, homey atmosphere with a cozy fireplace. It also has two large balconies across the entire width of the chalet with stunning views of the valley and mountains. You can enjoy this during, for example, breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

From the unpaved road at the bottom of the chalet, a short staircase leads through the garden to the house. Down the stairs is a private (small) parking space. Please note: this parking lot is not cleared by the municipality during the winter months with a lot of snowfall. Instead, you can park along the beech hedge on the main road. From here, it is a short walk of 3/4 minutes to the chalet. This can be challenging with luggage, but it can be done.

The house is not suitable for guests with mobility problems.

The entire chalet is available to guests. The price is based on a stay of 2 guests excluding the use of bed linen and bath towels. For each extra guest, €25 per night will be charged extra.

The use of bed linen is optional, if used, then 50 CHF per guest will be charged for the laundry costs.

Bed linen and towels can be rented at laundry costs. You must indicate this in advance and pay the manager upon arrival.

Chateau d'Oex is a medium-sized holiday resort at about 1,000 meters altitude with about 3,000 inhabitants. It is located 15 km west of Gstaad, with a very cozy main street. There are all kinds of facilities available in the village. Like a spacious sorted supermarket, various cozy restaurants. As well as an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and an ice rink in winter. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool in Saanen. Indoor swimming pool in Gstaad as well as a nice ski area of 250 km (about 20 minutes drive). Nearest ski resort in Rouchemont - De Videmanette.
Traffic connection: Railway line Montreux - Bernese Oberland. On-site station 1km from chalet. Coming by plane: Geneva-Cointrin Airport (GVA), Zurich (ZRH), Basel (BSL). From the airports a good train connection to the village Possibility to rent a car at the airports or in Chateau d'Oex.
