Perfect for those who value the charm of old houses. "LaTranquille" deserves its name and enjoys a great location... We had a very relaxing stay. The small train (nearby train stations) is very convenient. We thank Monika and Danielle for their hospitality and kindness. In short, a good base to discover this beautiful region and take nice walks.

We spent 10 unforgettable days. The accommodation is a small corner of paradise, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Cristina provided us with all the details in a clear and precise way, and was really very kind. We will definitely be back!!!

The accommodation is just outside of Montreux with a great bus connection to the center. Just below, a staircase leads to the lake, where it has a pretty beach coffee. I would come back!

We really enjoyed staying here. Everything was as described in the listing. It was close enough to visit the Christmas market in Montreux and surrounding towns along the lake. I would definitely recommend staying here again! Very welcoming with children and families.

Christine’s home, La Grappe, was perfect to use as a home base from which to explore Switzerland. The views from her home are breathtaking. A 5-10 minute walk brings you to either a bus stop or the train station. The nearby Lac Leman shore trail is ideal for daily strolls, visiting the Chateau de Chillon or the Fort de Chillon, and into Montreux. With our booking, we received a pass for use on all public transportation in “The Montreux Riviera” area. It was extremely handy, and allows also for free or reduced admission to many of the area`s sites. Her home was impeccably clean, comfortable and cozy, and she is a delightful hostess, who has thought of all the little things travelers need. She has lovingly transformed the gardens and pathways around her home into places for private relaxation and reflection - a beautiful setting while enjoying your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. Christine is a font of travel and sightseeing ideas. We highly recommend her home. Enjoy!

Excellent stay in this simple and efficient accommodation, close to the funicular, close to the small village of Chardonne and above all close to the steps and walks of the terraces of Le Lavaux. And what a view! 30 minutes by car from Gruyère and Broc (Caillier chocolate factory), a few minutes by funicular of the pretty town of Vevey. About 15-20 minutes from downtown Montreux.

We had a great stay. The description of the accommodation and amenities is exactly in line with reality. Stunning views of Lake Geneva. The place is very pleasant and quiet, ideal for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend 100%,you won't be disappointed.

Authentic customs house located at the edge of a river, a little noisy for the couple who slept on the ground floor! But very nice, very good stay with alternating hikes in the mountains and by the lake.
