Welcome to Culpepper Farms. Surrounded by serene countryside, this Airbnb is perfect for those looking for a peaceful getaway. With our cozy Hill House accommodation, 15-acre lake available for fishing and kayaking, and farm tours showcasing horses, bees, and more, we offer a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and authentic farm life. Join us for an unforgettable journey, connecting people with nature and fostering a deeper appreciation for the beauty of rural living.

The space
On the property, we have a beautiful 15 acre lake, livestock, rolling hills, and 100 year old oak trees. Built by my grandparents many years ago, the farm has a special history in Denison. My wife and I recently moved back to run the farm, and we are thrilled to be able to share it with you.

We are located just 8 minutes from historic downtown Denison which offers multiple antique shops, boutiques, wineries, coffee shops, steak houses, and provisions. Home of Eisenhower's birthplace and the Katy Depot Museum, this quaint little downtown has something to offer everyone. Music On Main is a free concert series hosted by the City of Denison for folks visiting us during the months of May through July.

After a day in town, return home and enjoy the evening overlooking the pastures. The Hill House at Culpepper Farms will surely provide an unforgettable vacation.

You'll be able to access the Hill House and yard that is fenced in. We thank you for not entering the pastures as we have horses and cattle that are grazing.

Guests are welcome to walk down the driveway to the lake. It’s a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset in the evening. Please reach out directly to book fishing or kayaking for the day. Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Other things to note
Complimentary Add ons:
- Farm Fresh Eggs: Just let us know you’d like some eggs from our chickens and we will include a half dozen at the Airbnb.
- Feed the horses: Reach out and we’ll leave some treats (carrots) for you to feed them.
- Visit our bees: Contact us to schedule time for us to show you our hive. We won’t be expecting honey again to share until spring 2024. Bee suits will be provided.

Add ons for an additional cost:
- Fishing (includes use of jon boat): $50 daily rate per person
- Kayaking: $50 daily rate per person

By booking Fishing or Kayaking, you will have private access to the lake for the entire day. Please reach out as soon as possible to schedule as we also offer this to ‘Private Water Fishing’ members. Reservations are subject to availability.
