This 1890s farmhouse has been updated with modern conveniences, yet the original charm remains with the wood floors and huge stone fireplace. You'll have the full house to yourself, with enchanting views of the pastures and hills that surround it. Disconnect from the hustle and bustle and come to the country for your ultimate getaway.

The space
The farmhouse was constructed in 1890, then moved to its current location sometime in the 1940's. The home is completely fenced off from the main working ranch, but the views are unobstructed. If you love getting away from it all, you will love it here.
*There is no wifi / internet and cell coverage is limited in many areas on the property, depending on your provider.

Guest access
You will have the entire home and approximately 2-acre yard to yourself, but the owner visits the property daily to care for the livestock. Owner will not enter the home or disturb you in any way, but we do need access via the driveway to the pastures and barns.

We are open to adding farm experiences to your stay, such as helping (or just watching) us feed the cattle and goats. New calves are born in mid-March and goats are kidding in February. These are great times to book stays.

*30 minutes to shopping in historic downtown Clifton, Texas
*35 minutes to shopping in quaint downtown Hico, Tx

Because it's an older home, there is no way to enter without steps and the home is not ADA compliant.
